Sims had the bad misses. Murray come on for Yeo then moved to the edge when Sims got hooked

The fact Yeo and Murray both got under 60 mins is almost criminal

The nathan brown selection will be so contraversial but he plays so direct and fast.

Hes an origin player.

Hes our version of cotter.

We lost tonight purely through ruck speed..

We need to win off that on the back of the right combo.

Hass gives us size and go forward as does frizell..the others give fast leg speed and fast play the balls.

maybe you even go with Finucane and Jake Turbo at props but certainly need a few changes

Fittler watches plenty of games he should know smaller is the way forward

As comes up in the Penrith game threads. Kenny works for us in that role because it combats what other teams do.

I was expecting Grant to do more damage but when I saw the teams. I went QLD 24-12... glad it was closer

To be honest have not been interested in origin for year.just happy no injuries to the penrith boys onto Newcastle.Clearys kicking game on the bombs has been off for weeks he is far better when he mixes up his kicks

Hynes for Crichton is what it should of been. Having him in the middle changes the tempo

I am similar. All the rot that happens with Qld's 'elastic' boundaries did it for me, many many years ago.

The no injuries for me is the big win.

I cannot stand them talking to the coaches, you can see the coaches are zoned into the match. Also how bad was it that Can Smith was telling go Qlds like a spectator. Unprofessional.

I felt qld were by far the better team.

Freddie just didnt get the team right. The big man game back fired badly.

Having said that i thought 2 of qlds tries were definite no tries.

Paulo was clearly not allowed to break from the scrum and dce went straight through that gap.

And there 2nd try down the right.... jesus that pass that bounced lol. 1.5m forward. Pretty embarassing really.

So i think the positive in all of it is that qld really dominated field possession and momentum for basically the whole game. Yet only won by 6 points.

Nsw will need to make a few changes. Quicker forwards around the ruck to stop cotter and grant etc.

Latrell simply MUST come back in to. Even if he hasnt played a game. Hes a must.

Had a few beers last night so was pretty frustrated watching.

Martin, murray and sims can all rotate through the middle and play prop when haas and jurbo off.

Api to play until the fatigue kicks in. Just like he does for penrith..early ball. Cook can come on when qld start to fatigue.

Yeo has to play the 80. We lost all direction when he went off.

Brian and Dan were great on the wings but they never once went back through the ruck.... why??? They were so hard to tackle but they just went into the line... they had to go back behind the ruck..

Qld did it all game..cotter and there faster men went back into the ruck area all game and our big men just couldnt keep up.

Nsw going to have to do it the hard way. I think they can..
