As for the spoon, in two years nobody will remember who won it this year, just as nobody remembers who won it two years ago. ;-)

But your club's cap rort will still be remembered long after this year's premiers are pushed aside by next year's premiers, and the premiers of the following years.

Just like the 80s are remembered for Parramatta's and Canterbury's dominance, and the 90s are remembered for the Broncos and Raiders, the first ten years of this century will be remembered for the Melbourne Storm wiping away half a decade through cheating.

I'd like to believe that (it's comforting) but I don't. I think the front office has had several issues, but excessive honesty is probably not one of them.

We've also been done for breaching the cap, but for minor issues issues caused by bonuses kicking in.
