Pearce should be dropped. He won't be dropped. Over the last 8 years NSW has consistently dropped the wrong players and stuck with the wrong players.

In other news, you could have turned $100 into 11 million betting on Nadal, Federer and Sharapova to get knocked out of Wimbledon this early.

While NSW don't have players of the calibre of Thurston and Cronk, we do have some very good young (or young-ish) halves: Mullen, Maloney, Carney, Reynolds, Reynolds, Kelly, Sezer, McCrone, Williams. Sure, not all are anywhere near ready for a call-up, but there's enough that are that we shouldn't be selecting Pearce (the first 5 on the list). We kept the wrong incumbent half in game 1. Maloney and Carney would have won us game 1 by more, I'm convinced. And they'd give us a damned sight better chance of turning it around in game 3.
Maloney/Carney pairing would've been a disaster IMO, both players that have shown they need a solid organiser playing inside them to be at their best.

I think Adam Reynolds with one of Carney, Maloney would be the pairing next season, fair enough though he's not getting picked in just his second year, question marks over running game and his defence. Also not sure he'd have made a difference when our pack got so comfortably beaten last night. His kicking game though would allow some control of the play.

It was kiddy pool and they didn't fill it, they lathered it and covered me and the other girls with it.

Do you know how hard that stuff is to was out of your hair and clothes? Took four days to stop smelling KY.

It was Scary Canary, the skeesey back packer bar on Kent Street.

Its water based, so you need to wash it with warm water then soak in soap.

A lot of these instructions are on the packaging... :sarcasm:

First 25 minutes was one way traffic. Qld tired a bit after that. We had some opportunities; no kicking game and no spread were the issue.

Reynolds does both, so would have at least given our backline half a chance.

It's funny that everyone thinks that Adam Reynolds has no running game. When he was in Toyota cup, it was a stand out feature of his game. In 2011 he had a knee reco and was basically told not to run in 2012. I've noticed this year that he is gradually starting to take the line on more often again now. I'm guessing the shackles have been removed and he has a bit of confidence back as well now that he has a full season in his knee.

The kid really is a pretty complete footballer and I think that in coming months people will come to realise how good he actually is.

The limited amount I've seen of it impresses me. He runs when he needs to rather than when he can.

He also has a massive five eight and full back to flick on to, which means he isn't forced to run it.

McGuire is clearly aware of what he is doing. I think you're right that we'll see more of it as time moves on.

Ventured into the Lol@Souffs forum to see their opinions on Merritt's dire performance. Predictably it was Morris' fault

The entire building smells like a public toilet today. And not the piss smell. The grog bog on a monumental level kind.

f**king Chinas don't know how to build a new building without severing power and internet, doing heavy construction at 3am, or opening a sewer main on a fortnightly basis.

f**k me, the last time I was this pissed off over a football match was 1999. As much as the refs were merkins and doing their best to make sure there's a decider, the attitude displayed by the NSW team was f**king deplorable. That's where we lost. Looked like the players thought after game 1 all they had to do was run out and they'd win. The thought that comes to mind is "you can't fix stupid" (kudos to whoever posted that the other day).
