As for the refs, look, they were hopeless but the 50/50 calls went both ways by the end of the night. However, the Merrin brawl wouldn't have happened if they had have policed the ruck.

Look, there's no doubt Qld were hungrier. I think with even fair refs its their game without doubt and by the same lead. My issue was the shit they coughed up was simply diabolical.
It was literally as if the ghost of Barry Gomersall had possessed the ref's.
I'm very, very rarely a ref basher. They have a hard job. But last night was abysmal. Atrocious reffing for a good 30 minutes at the least.
