Agree. Until every player and staff member that was there from 2005-2009 is gone the taint remains.
Meh. The JJ Giltinan Shield and premiership trophy suggest otherwise.

Disagree to an extent. I think its about planning for three to five years with juniors coming through and staggering your contracts properly so they don't all finish at the same time.
As you suggest, Melbourne know how to do it. So do Brisbane to an extent. Success breeds success and players stay loyal to the club if they're successful so wages won't balloon as a consequence.
Clubs should be releasing and bringing through at least two players a year so that the team isn't dependent on a core group so much.
Dan Hunt is softer than melted ice cream right now. Very frustrating player to watch. Similar case as Ryles, who had all the potential in the world yet is probably one of the most mediocre players I've ever seen.
Boy I'm glad we let Ryles go. The years where our fans lauded him as some sort of front rower supremo were dark years.
WoofYou're supposed to chat up the players

Anything over a paragraph is too long these days, I have the attention span of a gnat and the laziness of a sloth.
Apart from the stupid penalties and stupid mistakes, Ryles has been really good for us.
It seems he has really helped out our younger props aswell.
He was injured for last years grand final :?
I'm with Thorston on Ryles. He's been good for us. Those stupid passes are now few and far between and he gives away far less penalties than he used to. My ex is a Roosters supporter so when I lived in Sydney I went to plenty of Roosters games. I used to hang shit on him hard. But not any more.

I think I might rustle people's jimmies.
Read this, if you can. Explains why your brain is so poor.

By being an example of what not to do in 1st Grade?
No offence, but he has a giant frame yet hits the defensive line like an insect hits a car windshield.
No leg drive (stick legs), bad offloads at bad times and the basic errors in his game make him a substantial liabilty. There's a reason Bellamy didn't play him in the GF last year.
Its the Bellamy affect. He is very good at giving a meat head a role within the team and getting them to stick to that role.
afternoon
That asterisk belongs on the 2010 premiership. Playing in a comp where not all teams are eligible.
 Such discussions remind me of this:
Hahaha.
It really doesn't bother me when people see our premiership as tainted (except when its dogs fans).
It is funny seeing all the whinging on the NRL board when it gets brought up though. (And its never us who brings it up. Always people who are butt hurt)
Same with the merger / 16 arguments. Never Saints fans, always those butt hurt.
The only issue is the average Saints fan bites when in fact they should just continue on claiming the 16 and watching the gnashing of teeth.

Hahaha yeah those threads are gold.
Honestly, if the dragons fans want to claim 16 premierships, who is anyone to say they can't.
Although JM can't, he was a steelers fan so it was the 1st premiership for him
