I would just rather get some sleep instead of watching some lycra clad git relentlessly pedal their way through the scenery.

I would rather play tennis than watch it. And I'm terrible at tennis. I do enjoy it though. Table tennis! Nah!


Lawn bowls! Subtlety, tactics, sledging, mental disintegration and a couple of beers makes for a great time. Best game I ever played was against the Reservoir foursome in Division 9. They were all in their 80's and they destroyed us. Had us laughing so hard we could barely stand. Had to resort to stealing their walking frames.

Just rich prima donnas grunting and screaming at each other for hours or complaining to the umpire about one call that goes against them. And don't get me started on the crowds. Tennis is up there with NASCAR for boringness.

As for le tour - I see enough drug users exhausting themselves in my line of work. These days the tour isn't about winning its about how long a rider can cheat without getting caught.

Darts is where it's really at.
