I do remember waiting 15 minutes for the computer to start up. If my laptop isn't on in about 10 seconds nowadays I'll throw it.

I had that about two weeks ago. Manually scraped about a hundred programs from auto running. Never noticed because i always turn it on on the way out for a smoke. Going like a dream now.

Bah, being a kid with technology is awesome. Always had the best, even though it cost us an arm and a leg to get it. We had one of them old foxtel flash cards, free ppvs every month. Was quite good.

We had on of those Foxtel cards.

Also gave us free access to the adult only channels, which to a 13 year old Thorson was like heaven.

Also growing up in the 90's was great. We had the best of both worlds.

Only reason I hated winter was due to my parents rule being that I had to come inside when the street lights came on. (Only on school nights though, on weekends and school holidays we would always be playing in the street and pretty late.)

TBH, I miss those days. They were my phase growing-up so to me it's fond memories. I watched a tape as I was ripping to the hard-drive today and it was of me and my cousin playing around with VHS tapes, old toys that never existed and behind us was a massive rear projection TV.

Off topic, does anybody know a reputable repairer of alloy wheels? My brother scratched mine up big time on his L's and he's offering to fix them, might as well get it done. Want to find a reasonable price though.

Living around Granville there would be plenty. But I wouldn't class them as reputable.

I'm up near Carlingford but willing to travel to get it done. From what I've seen, more are mobile and come to you.

I like the whole my god is the one and only god (or in Hinduisms case our 8 gods) which comes from mainly the extremists of each religion.

I don't mind if you believe in something, just don't try to push it onto me.

I learnt that from a young age when I was forced to do scripture in a government school.
