Went down to Yellowstone for the weekend. Spent the night sleeping in the back of a van with two other people. We literally removed the back seats and stored them outside the car. Reached 4 degrees over night in the park...was cold as f*ck when trying to sleep. Still, awesome. That place is absolutely amazing.

Yellowstone will be something we probably can't get to this time around. I hope it's still there and the mega volcano waits until after I see it.

Yosemite was incredible though!

After experiencing a weekend and a Monday of this weather, I now know what it feels like to live in Melbourne 24/7.

f**k I love Sydney!

Yellowstone is pretty cool, just wish the weather had been better when I was there (better than 0 and raining/snowing) so I could've explored a little more. Saw a grizley though

Yosemite is probably the best place I've been to on earth. Just phenomenal.

@Drewsta IIRC Yellowstone national park is basically one big supervolcano, hence the sulpher all over the place and general volcanic activity. obviously if it blew there'd be a bit of collateral damage to the scene.

And by 'collateral damage', Red bear means most of the north west coast would cease to be habitable. The mid west would be unable to grow crops for years. It would bring the USA and parts of Canada to their knees.

Wow! Had no idea. Is it supposed to blow anytime soon? That sounds incredible.
