Cut up two credit cards. Feels amazing.

Never again.

Great stuff Dani - it really is a good feeling. About six years ago, we cut the credit card and all store cards. From that point - just a debit card or cash.

Good work but, why did you need more than 1 Dani?

Just after I got together with my ex, he was made redundant from his job. Without those cards we'd not have eaten. For a long time I was barely able to pay off the minimum.

Evil, evil things.

Credit cards, and my ex...

Are you posting this chained up in some guys basement ?

Thankfully, not. I did wake up to a lovely garbage truck though and frozen testicles.

Yellowstone will be something we probably can't get to this time around. I hope it's still there and the mega volcano waits until after I see it.

Yosemite was incredible though!

Yosemite is next on my list, tbus that's a longer haul for me. Yellowstone was literally a 1 1/2 hr drive. I drove the entire path back as well. From Old Faithful, the 191 and all the way back to Bozeman. Was an amazing scenic route. Didn't get to see any bears, but go to see plenty of Bison, Elk and other wildlife.

Can you explain? I have no idea about the volcano bit.

It's better known as Yellowstone Plateau, basically, YT is sitting on top of the largest volcano in the world, hence the sulflur and geysers (check my facebook photos) all around the place.

If it were to erupt, the damage it would cause would be catastrophic. It would pretty much destroy the surrounding states, and the further states (Seattle, California, Nevada, Texas etc. would suffer serious ash clouds as a result).

Thing is, no one can really predict when it's going to explode, yet alone if it will explode at all.

Yellowstone is pretty cool, just wish the weather had been better when I was there (better than 0 and raining/snowing) so I could've explored a little more. Saw a grizley though

I'm gutted, didn't get to see a grizzly. Heading back down in a few weeks though, during autumn when the weather is a bit milder and bears are preparing for hibernation - hopefully, we'll find one then.

First time at the gym in a while.

Pain....

Good luck, champ.

I'm doing another charity run for beyond blue in October. Can't decide if I should do the 5km or 10km.

Tbh if Yellowstone went it would likely be the end of life as we know it for a lot of the world. The ash from Krakatoa affected the climate for quite a while, and it was a cap gun compard to yellowstone.

Sorry, just being an insufferable know it all while waiting for these girly men to powder their noses at the hotel....

The Toba event 70,000 years ago, which is meant to be the most recent event comparable to Yellowstone plunged the world into a ten year long perpetual winter, resulted in one thousand years of cooler temperatures and almost wiped out nascent humanity.

So yeah, End of life as we know it and all that.

Out of 1 DreamTeam league... scored 945 and lost to some guy on 997. Other semi was 939 vs 955. Bleh. Too many good people in that one.

Night shift has it's pros and cons.

Pro:
I can go about my work without being hassled by annoying OHS f**kwits.
It's easy work...I pretty much sit on my arse playing games on my phone the whole time.

Con:
It doesn't happen often, and when it does, I struggle to adjust my body clock. For example, I started this shift at 10pm last night. I've been awake since 6:30am yesterday. My shift probably won't finish until about 10am, so by the time I get home I will have been awake for 28 hours. Only just now passed the point of over tiredness, and now reached autopilot mode where I don't quite know what is going on, but somehow I still get all my work done and (hopefully) don't die driving back to the office.

TBH its kinda ironic that if the world was to end it would be because the US sits on the largest gun in the world, only to have it fire and kill us all in a worldwide massacre.

Well. By run I mean I'm going to waddle.

I really only support two charities. Beyond Blue and Diabetes Australia. I'll buy a daffodil and poppy and stuff but that's about it.
