I second Bazal's confusion as to why you're watching AvP, DU. It's like going back to Punchbowl. You've been there once and escaped without tetanus. Why risk it?

I've noticed that. All I can put it down to is jealousy at their success. At least I have a positive reason for hating Baltimore: the actions of Art Modell in creating them. How the f**k Baltimore could get behind a team created in such a manner when they knew firsthand what it was like to be on the receiving end (when the Colts were moved to Indianapolis) is beyond me.

As much as it shits me to say this, go the 49ers.

A number of significant differences there.
Baltimore insisted the colours and records be left in Cleveland.
All they got was a license, and given the history of what the colts did,
The town would never have accepted the franchise if they stole the heart and
Soul from another team. Modell also invests heavily in charity in both towns - so not going to bag him.

I remember the first time I went to punchbowl. I was walking around, got a little lost so I asked a police officer how far it was to the train station. He said "I don't know. Nobody's ever made it".

I don't know what it is, but I like the American National Anthem. Something about it interests me. Star Spangled Banner.

I watched the browns episode on 'A foootball life' a few months ago and it was just a shit situation all around for everyone. That old browns stadium was f**king atrocious though........... See the dawg pound were throwing shit (seats and stuff)onto the field at the last game before they moved so the refs had to make the team with the ball attack facing away from the dawg pound, if the defense got the ball they would have to swap directions once they made it over half way to avoid running towards the debris.'insane shit!!!!

I've always been slightly envious of it. It inspires them to the point of tears and it's hard not to feel a little patriotic yourself hearing it. They fought and died for their independence for better or worse. Out anthem was chosen based on a competition in a newspaper.

Yeah, Cleveland was taking the browns for granted. They'll never do that again.

Also, seeing Indy come to Baltimore and lose in week one was hilarious. Baltimore went nuts - they despise the colts beyond reason.
