So if the woman of your dreams came up to you and asked for a hug, you'd say no?

I remember once I saw a girl I know quite well after having not seen her in ages. For some reason, instead of going to give her a hug/peck on cheek I offered out my hand to shake it. She gave me the most bizzare look ever and just walked in and hugged me.

Took me a few seconds to realize what I did. Guess, It's what you get after spending all day in work mode and shaking hands most of the day.

I have a game I play when meeting new people. Those that crush my little nerd hand in a game of oneupmanship are the ones that are buying me drinks by the end of the night. The tequila shots on Friday just passed were particularly satisfying.

It's hard to fight me when you're twisted around my pinky. Silly little puppets.

I'm still not comfortable with the peck on the cheek upon greeting. I think I draw the line at a good hug.

I can't stand those games. They achieve nothing but make the person trying to crush a hand look like a fool.

It's a massive wank, and I immediately think less of the person.

I love a good hug. I'm pretty huggable... have been told I'm world class.

ugh... f**k... dat moment when my numb leg (severed nerves from surgery some 13 years ago) gets itchy... and there's no way to register a "scratch" on it.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

One friend I know does it, and it kind of annoys me. Otherwise, Only people I peck on the cheek upon greeting is family (Females and one uncle).

+1. f**k me, I'm not the only one like that. I'm a fairly reserved person.
There is nothing wrong with that. I'm relatively open with people but only friends and family get into my personal space. Mind you that is still a lot of people. :)

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

44 years ago, I severed the nerves in my left leg. To this day, I have that itch problem.........it's a major frustration.

Far out, still having nerve issues from 13 years and 44 years ago? I'm having nerve issues in my chest and after 10months I've already gone crazy. Hit the whole right side of my chest, shoulder and a bit of my back. Makes moving my right arm a task.

However, Now they think it's not nerve damage and something worse :/ Nothing is more annoying the constant....itch/no feeling or sensation there.

It's called phantom limb syndrome. If it's any consolation (which I'm pretty sure it isn't) you have a syndrome with a cool name that is philosophically interesting
