Hey all, I'm doing a uni assignment on our wonderful game and as part of it thought I'd do a survey on what you guys thought on the current culture of league. Any contributions would be very helpful to me, and I'd be eternally grateful.

What age were you when you started following footy?
What club do you support?
Why do you support the club you support?
How many games would you attend a year?
What makes rugby league better than any other game?
Have you/ will you introduce your children to rugby league?
Do you think it's important to preserve the history and the culture of the game?

Raiders.
I was born in Canberra, the Raiders are my local team.
14 games on average.
The spectacle of finely tuned athletes belting it out in one of the toughest sports in the world.
Most definitely will.
Absolutely.

How many games would you attend a year? I live in Canberra and don't drive, so not as many as I like. Usually 6-7

Do you think it's important to preserve the history and the culture of the game? Yes. The game has an essence I feel and I don't think that it would be anywhere near as good as it is today without that history and culture

The excitement, skill levels, the hits, the toughness. Did I mention the excitement?
Yes.
Yes, but not to the detriment of the future.

Parramatta

1st game I can remember watching was the 1983 GF. Parra won it grew from there

Depends on how many origins are in Sydney, test matches, how many games Parra plays, if trials are counted etc but always at least 20 normally closer to 30-35

Errm, it just is

If I have Kids yes

Yes, history must always have a part in the game however progress at times is always needed eg Video ref.
