It was about the most reckless tackle I have ever seen. Picked the bloke up and deadset german suplexed him directly onto his head. Took him completely vertical to the point that when he hit the ground he rolled onto his back.

Deserved a heavy punishment, but jesus 10 weeks is pretty excessive. double digits should be reserved for repeat offenders of the same offence and serious stuff like king hits and eye gouging.

Either way, both refs and the video ref should be stood down immediately for not sending him off. Absolute cowards the lot of them and really if they had sent him I reckon the grading would have been lower

Where does it mention a previous history of dangerous throwing? It says loading has come from 2 previous HIGH tackle charges.

There is no doubt he should have been sent off and the more I watch the replay the more the suspension is justified.

If he hadn't lost grip on DeGois, he would have driven him head first into the turf.

If the tackle had led to life changing injury to Degois what would have the charge been? IMO the worse tackle I have seen in the modern game all be it unintentional.

It is a Grade 4 and is as lengthy because he has two prior offences that give to loading.

The MRC got it right - for once.

It seems bloody harsh and I think 4 or 5 is probably about right. Although part of me can see why they have been this harsh, it looked pretty bad.

I also just traded Buhrer for him in supercoach last week. f**king annoying.

Think you will find it tough to find one similar. We had the leagues largest and strongest men tackle one of the leagues smallest men 'one on one'.

Unfortunately for TREX he is too strong for his own good at times!
