Tahu's complaint about DA was apparently about playing him when he was injured or something? So what good is forcing him back to training now if he still has concerns about healing? Doesn't Eric Grothe have a permanent "get out of training free" card for similar reasons?

He needs to communicate directly with Kearney, and agree a "return to work" plan. I don't give a stuff about when he returns, it's not as if the training before Christmas is anything more than physical conditioning, and even the Tele says that the players are privately backing Tahu....

If he's worried training is hurting his rehabilitation from injury... then what's he doing playing full games of league in charity matches?

If Tahu is uncontracted, can't he do what he wants?

so he wouldn't be at all upset then if parra just decided to pull the pin on things? - cos of course he's not under contract, so we can do what we want right? :?

I'm betting Tahu would be pissed if we didn't go through with it after the apparent agreement to a deal - so Tahu needs to respect his side of making an agreement also and be responsible to the club

I'm not some prick with an axe to grind with Tahu - he was probably my favourite player before he left a few years back and I was pumped to have him back - but FMD he's making it difficult to give him continuing blind support

So is it ok for our players to play in matches without the clubs knowledge?

If parra didn't know about Tahu playing in this match will there be any disciplinary action taken?

I know it's a good thing for charity but what if he got injured. Parra would be paying for him to sit on the sideline.

Non-story, and imo nothing for fans to get worked up about.

FMD - where did you pull that from Barty? - return to work plan? - talk about making excuses!!!

where has it been mentioned that he is currently injured? .... he's played league in an indigenous round robin event, trained with the kangaroos train on squad, trained with parra up until last week and now a touch footy charity event .... injured? wtf?

I remember reading an article about Kearney taking time out from the 4 Nations to lay down the law to the eels players. Let's wait and see if he is still laying down the law.

I don't really care what spin the media put on it but I am annoyed that he was granted personal leave a week after the guys started back, and then he went and played in a charity match with the same crowd who caused the racial allegation scandal. Come on Timana, grow a brain FFS.

or how about 'Good on you Timana for keeping your obligation to play in this charity match and help raise money for a sick girl even though you know you would probably cop plenty of stick ???'

TBH comparing the Tahu situation to Grothe is a little irrelevant. Tahu is on way more than him and Eric's contract is now incentive based from what I've heard.

Kearney's credibility and maybe Parra's season will probably depend upon it.

His poor little head is not right so he can't train with the team, yet he is able to go and play a game of league with the guy who has accused him of being a racist???

It's been said b4 but Tahu is a dead set walking contradiction and an absolute pain in the arse. I hope Kearney makes an example of him
