Kearney sure must be wondering what hell he has walked into........I wonder how he is sleeping at night????
Yeah, I know...If he's worried training is hurting his rehabilitation from injury... then what's he doing playing full games of league in charity matches?
Fair enough re Grothe's contract - that's probably a fair value tbh.TBH comparing the Tahu situation to Grothe is a little irrelevant. Tahu is on way more than him and Eric's contract is now incentive based from what I've heard.
I'm just making stuff up (as usual) ;-).FMD - where did you pull that from Barty? - return to work plan? - talk about making excuses!!!
where has it been mentioned that he is currently injured? .... he's played league in an indigenous round robin event, trained with the kangaroos train on squad, trained with parra up until last week and now a touch footy charity event .... injured? wtf?

Like Fish, I think Tahu's been on the end of a hard time.
BULLDOGS insiders have been privately doing cartwheels about arch-rivals Parramatta letting them sign rookie centre Jonathan Wright on a deal worth $80,000 a season.
The youngster has been blitzing it in the pre-season, while a couple of suburbs away at Parramatta Timana Tahu has been nothing but high maintenance
Looks like there is a chance another Eels junior could come back to bite us in the ass.
Tahu needs to piss off
I remember reading an article about Kearney taking time out from the 4 Nations to lay down the law to the eels players. Let's wait and see if he is still laying down the law.

I don't if it's been mentioned here yet, but if tahu does infact have a contract, and is requesting some leave, I don't think there's much management can do in terms of giving him the flick. Surely he would then have a case of unfair dismissal, as his problems have arisen while playing the game, and would be claiming his leave is based on compassinate grounds due to the pressure and stress on the racial vilification matters this year.
If he requests leave, and it's denied, yet he still doesn't turn up to training then the club have every right to terminate his contract as he's breached the terms.
