Legal shots?? Oh i forgot you cant do shoulder charges in union.
No they arent... proper takling requires use of the arms.. not show boating.
eels_fan_01 said:
Is Tahu legally required to wear a dress unless like the other union players.
No rugby players wear dresses... you must be projecting your fantasies... i am sure your mum must be proud that you like men in dresses.
eels_fan_01 said:
Im always split on whether i want league players to do well in union, i dont like them because they left league but it shows what a joke of a game union is.
And you are why Aussie league fans are considered wankers.
eels_fan_01 said:
In this thread of seen alot of sh*t about how league players havent been good in union. Wendell Sailor hadnt even played professional rugby union and strolled hes way into the Wallabies. Another example Sam Harris plays for the Tahs which is representing the best NSW talent but yet in league he was playing for one in 8 NSW teams and wasnt that great either.
And that is supposed to mean anything??? The tahs are crap.. that is nothing to gloat about... why have no NRL players dominated in Rugby? why arent they number one in their position???? because they arent any better than anybody else.

Your an absolutely f**king idiot. What is considered dominating to you??

NONE OF THE LEAGUE PLAYERS HAD EVER PLAYED PROFESSIONAL RUGBY AND THEY GOT CHOOSEN FOR THE WALLABIES!

Not just the state team, no no no the national side! Id like to see ANY rugby union player make the switch and in there first year play for the Kangeroos.

Pretty impressive for a country known for being "rugby" obsessed. 1 World Cup victory in Rugby Union and Rugby League for that matter, your sh*t.

lol thats abit funny coming from a fellow parra fan.... as painfull as this is to point out to the inbred here.... the All Blacks last won the RWC in 1987.... thats 6 attempts without winning it. at least the all blacks have won everything else in that time...

The Eels last won a premiership in 1986.... thats 22 attempts without doing it.... and all we have to show for that 22 attempts is 2 minor premierships and a couple of sevens titles...

your an idiot mate.... get lost.... you have no idea about RU so your retarted views make you look like a jackass....

come to NZ and watch RU here... or goto sa or france and watch there RU.... dont judge the sport on whats going on in Australia... its a deadset joke...

No i'm not... you are the one dribling... makes you the idiot not me... Dominating is being the best in your world at that position... since you seem to think League players are soooooo much better then why hasnt this been the case????

BIG f**kING DEAL... In that time these players have gone from the undisputed No1 one league team to a team that has been anywhere from the No2 side down to number 7 side in the world... If you dont think an All Black could star for say Wales or France or PNG within a year or switching codes it does proove you are the "f**king idiot".

They wouldnt.. there arent enough good Australian Rugby players... the reason why the wannabies havent won anything in quite a few years.

Ahhh and the final proof of your idiocy... world cup wins dont equate to success... the All Blacks have a near 90% winning record... THAT equates to success.. ANY intelligent person can see that... since you cant....
The Kiwis have beaten the Kangaroos plenty of times with a pool of player numbers number less than 20 Thousand... thats 5-6 times LESS that what the Kangaroos have... with that disparity the kangaroos should never lose... since they do they must be Sh*t too... accoeding to your logic.

Tahu will go well in super 14 but if he runs straight and hard then he will get owned by Nonu and co big time.

Nonu is not a star but is bloody strong.

Tahu will have to learn to position himself when tackled as this is often an area of the game that league players stuggle with...Matt Rogers and Shifcoske were both caught out in past seasons.

This is all i have to say.

World cup victories
Wallabies 2
All Chokers 1

The World Cup is the premier competition in Rugby Union, i couldnt give two f**ks if the All Blacks won 90% of their games. They are chokers, when the going gets touch they cant do anything because they are nancy boys.

Rugby Union players dont come over to League because all they want is money. Simple fact. Same reason League players go over there, for money alone. Cant blame them either, getting payed that much money to make 5 tackles a year and kicking the ball into touch. That must take alot of skill though, kicking it straight out i mean under 8's do that pretty well in league.

So you admit you have got nothing... your entire argument that a team is not good is a 6 week comp every 4 years??? thats a stupid argument by a simple person. The measure of success by intelligent people is conststantly being the best. Thats no1 for , the best , for the longest.... not just 6 out of 208 weeks.

Ahhh this just proves you really do have nothing... falling into that tired old stereotype... the sure sign of a truely simple person

Woopie do dar if they are the best in 4 years, they cant stand up to teams when they are playing at their best.

In 2001, we were the best team all year in the final, so 30 rounds (including finals) but we couldnt stand up in the end. We buckled under PRESSURE so we werent the best team that year.

Same with the All Chokers. If you cant do it in the best competition rugby has to offer than what are you? The All Blacks, sh*t.

Absolutly nothing... completly empty... your parents must be so proud...

The world cup IS NOT the best competition rugby has to offer.... not by a long way... It is harder to win the Tri-nations then it is to win the world cup last year South Africa only had England and Argentina to beat to win it...

All that proves is that the top level is very competitve... and the best team is not always going to win... Most people with at least a modicum of brains would rather be at the top of there game for 202 weeks over 4 years and not just 6.. ideally they would want to be at the top for all 208 weeks but anybody who calls someone a failure or sh*t for not being at their best for 6 weeks when they have been for 202 weeks is just a raving moron....

And its great you have finally given up your pathetically unsubstaintiated drivel that League players are better at rugby than rugby players...

Back to this thread...

Mortlock   lol

Mortlock aint good enough to scratch Tahu's ass.

Tahu is already the best centre in world rugby.

League easily boasts the best 5 centres in Australia (in both codes)

I only have respect for a few NZ & SA players who could easily kill it in League, the rest of the sport is a farce and only built its reputation through corporate backing and international appeal. It it wasn't for the start of Super 12, rugby would be up sh*t creek.

More baseless assertions with nothing to back it up.

And that just about sums up your Rugby knowledge right there... you did know that there is no Super 12 didn't you... the international appeal is what it all is about... domestic comps are by there very nature limited in appeal... Internationals can bind a nation together in support and nationalistic pride... in the end there is as much scope for growth in international as domestic comps.

Are you having me on....am i getting punked??

The Tri Nations which involes only 3 teams in the world is harder to win then the world cup with every playing nation in the world. More teams, more competition champ. Lets just entertained your f**ked up head for a minute.....if the tri nations is easier to win and New Zealand can win that!! Then the World Cup should be a shoe in??? Correct or not?

Most people with half a brain dont really give a f**k about the tri nations, teams are building towards the World Cup genius.

I know your not a reporter (thank christ) but if you were, id say ask every country on this planet what they want to achieve in World Rugby.

Are my parents proud of me?? Yeah they are real ashamed im on a forum talking to a moron like you who just because hes bunch of chokers cant win a competition he be-littles that competition. Yeah and i dont think the NRL premiership means anything because Eels havent won it.

You really dont have a clue do you???? you have the brains of a geniused goldfish. The tri-nations is harder to win then the world cup as you may only have to play one of the top teams in the world to win it. The tri-nations mean you HAVE to play two of the top teams, although to be fair the wannabies have been crap. Oh and moron.. The All Blacks HAVE won the world cup.

So now you are back tracking??? The world cup isn't the best comp, the most prestigeous most certainly, which is why everybody wants t win it. But it most certainly isnt where the best rugby is played.

I have never belittled the comp arsewipe... it most certainly is the most prestigeous Rugby comp in the world. You said it was the best comp rugby had to offer, meaning where the best and hardest rugby is played. it is widley stated that THAT is NOT the world cup. Got it idiot????

he's starting on the wing and he's hopeful of being moved into the centres mid way though the season, saw him interviewed last night

personally I think he's a better winger

Trial form. Nice try. The Brumbies' best seasons have come after terrible form in the trials.

Lealiifano and Holmes will prove to be Australia's #1 halves combination, and are ready to take to team onward and upward to the Super 14 title 2008.

Tahu on the wing is a no brainer. First game champ!

Lets revisit this thread in 2-3 months ;-)

Alright, seeing as your very slow (should have known because your a Kiwi).

I'll just say...if the Tri Nations is harder to win (you still with me dumbf**k?) than why can the All Chokers win that so many times but not the world cup??

Just answer me that, i dont expect your lame insults that dont even make sense.
