I've heard from a few sources in Melbourne that Proctor can be a real dick off the field, so if that's true he may be unravelled in Sydney (with the extra media attention). All he said/she said stuff so make of it what you will.

All these forwards off contract and these forwards would be handy and we need to strengthen our pack.

If we can't attract any of them, then we have some serious issues. Sims and proctor as everyone has mentioned are still on offer. If we can't land both I'm happy with sims. If we can't land either, then my friends out management team have no idea how to attract or finalise players deal. Maybe they need to be cleaned out.

Widdop was an awesome signing, so before anyone says anyting about that, I agree its a awesome signing.

To make myself clear, I'm talking more about the forwards that were or still are on offer. I mean how many can we possibly miss out on before we realize we have an issue attracting players.

It's hard to gauge how good or bad we are at recruitment. Sure we may miss out on big names but does anyone really know how hard we chased these guys?? Did we really chase Stewart or Grant? Perhaps we weren't really interested.

Maybe we passed on these guys to chase someone more important. No one knew about the Widdop signing either.

One thing I do know is that we need forwards. Still have faith that Doust may yet surprise us with a smart signing.

I think one of our issues is that we pay too much for our juniors like Hunt, offer big money for stars like Cronk, Dugan etc but struggle to find the extra cash for solid first graders. Doust under values them so we end up with stars, juniors and depth signings. That won't win a comp.

Doust is very cagey and it doesnt hurt clubs to think we are interested and get them to spend more of their cap on players we dont really want. We need a dominant Prop but form is so up and down this year. Who would now pay $850k for Fafita? There are not that many options

yep, as Twenty10 has written, Proctor to Roosters is a done deal ( yesterday - to fill the SBW vacancy ) & apparently Sims to Rabbitohs is a strong chance as well , with McQueen being pursued by Cowboys ( according to a few including RLW's Mole )

No discussions between McQueens management and anyone at this stage.....at all. Regardless of what the Telecrap writes. They are still looking for an upgrade for McQueen and if not forthcoming, then they will look for a new home in 2016.
