In our Bankwest Stadium opener v Tigers last year

Matto got absolutely smashed one tackle, Got up slow and groggy and spent a couple minutes on the wing, before going back in the middle.

Dogs side isnt half bad. Our form has dropped so fingers crossed. Id expect Jnr and Reg to play significantly less minutes with 3 middles on the bench this week . Hopefully Stone back next week and the original plan to provide some respite for Rheed is reinvigorated.

So I take it from that team that BA likes the Townsville Tradie over Taka and Gowie although Gowie is generally a middle but to bump those guys off the bench is a big call from BA.

I reckon he’s shown enough in his two games to grab a bench spot. Runs hard, has reliable hands and is likely for an offload. I have a soft spot Taka, and there’s definitely an argument to carry a utility on the bench, but I think it’s great to see Davey get an extended run

I love Gowie but Davey is the man. Potentially a very good player. Great to have a genuine edge forward in the ranks should unplanned circumstances occur.

Taka does provide great utility value if a back gets injured. BA doesn't like to mess around so I think the listed 17 will play.

He's not as tall or strong as Utoikamanu but has much better footwork and mobility, which are very important these days.
