I think Nathan Cayless had more skill than Nathan Brown, but Brown has more aggression, and perhaps even a better workmate.

I feel like, under the very fast ruck rules of 2001, he might've been the best forward in the world at the time. But in later years he was a bit undersized for the slower game. He had everything else, including footwork, ball skills and a big motor. He'd probably go pretty well today. I think Nathan Brown is similar.

Interesting how much sh*t The Dogs board have copped by the media (Talkin Sport etc) yet they have recently moved on Pay who was obviously out of his depth, signed Thompson and Coteric, signed Barrett and landed a huge Whale in Laundy. Like The Titans, it looks like they have turned the corner and are on an upward trend. It may take a while but the signs are there. I guess it means you have to grab your Premership Window when its open. Can we do it?

Nrown is still young enough. He has shown glimpses of developing a decent offload. Give him time.

He has a very good offload and passing game. He just isn't playing that way to use it. He at the moment is coming in from the back fence and exploding onto the ball. Not really a offloading option creator.

Maybe when he gets a little longer in the tooth and slows down a bit he may resort to a typical hitup and offload option style of play.

His current style may well be indicative of his numerous missed games this season due to suspension. Apart from last week, due mostly to injury, he plays like hes making up for lost time. Hopefully with consistent games he will settle. At his best the guy is definitely our forward leader but RCG is catching him fast.
