Well I can't wait for Friday night! It has seemingly been an eternity since our last home game, and I love returning to my comfy little reserved seat at both grounds, amongst the same friendly familiar faces. Autumn's a lovely time of year, so what better way to spend an evening can there be than dining al fresco on a hot dog, sipping a beer, hearing the cheers, jeers and tears of the crowd, and watching the Saints run around again. Ahh the tender trap

Might I wish you a most enjoyable evening Godz Illa. May the weather fair, the hot dogs tasty, your fellow supporters congenial, your flatulence under control, and the game to your liking.

I understand that my following comment will bring a tirade of abuse from my fellow Dragon supporters on this forum; and let me be clear...I love the Dragons....BUT I want us flogged on Friday night and then flogged the following week, and then the week after that so the Board of Directors will be forced to sack Price. Serving up Nathan Fien as the half -back again this week is depressing. I am even having trouble watching this kid Price lead our great club. This is not a bloody work experience placement. Now I will retreat under the table and wait for the bombs to land around me!

I know how you feel. I went through the same thing during the dark days of Browny's tenure at the club. On one hand you want to see the Dragons do well, but if failure is the only way to get the board to make a change, you're not upset to see them lose.

Personally, I don't know what to make of Pricey though.

It can't be easy stepping into Bennett's successful shoes, but with the team he commands, it's hard to understand why the Dragons aren't performing better.

That being said, I'm willing to sit back and see how Pricey handles himself and the club for the rest of the year. It's gonna take time to mould the team into his way of thinking/playing, and if the team shows signs of promise halfway/three-quarters of the way through the season, I wont be overly disappointed. Most critics are tipping us to finish in the bottom quarter of the comp, and if we can avoid that I wont be pissed.

So there is some truth to the rumours of Cagey's flatulence? Come to think of it there was a slightly malodorous air last Sunday. I thought it was the mangroves. But there was a southerly blowing. His essence (and dissolved particles) might just have made it to the Top End.

Now just how well do you know Cagey's particles hard baby? What analytical method was used?

And no smart comments about "passing the taste test" from you lot!!

I wouldn't mind seeing what Green could offer in the centres personally. On the Drinkwater, thing I get that the coach clearly does not believe he is ready, or else he'd be in there at 7.

You have to wonder though why you would recruit a guy who isn't ready to play half, given your fall back is Fien. Anyway early days.

Before he injured his knee!!!!

Actually no, he injured his knee while he was out injured... And that was when we signed drinkwater... Surely they had to know style was a risk...

The point most of us are making, we made our bed now use the frikken thing...

If you look at my initial team comments you will note that I had Fein, Frizzel and Stanley out. I'm still 50/50 on whether he'll play. I reckon Drinkwater will come in at half given we'll need a backup hooker. We'll see

I think you'll find he was bought with a view to the future, unless you are Nostradamus how would you have known Kyle would be out before the start of the season!
Mind you I wouldn't mind seeing the kid have a run considering Fein's lack of speed.

I don't think he'd have need to consult any Nostradamus quatrains to figure that out
I think that it's genetic (all that walking through Africa by his great, great grandfather H. M. Stanley left a legacy of wobbly knees)

Green Is not on prices radar. And I also don't think he's anywhere near what we need.

Did they even know he would make the grade in the halves? Never a sure thing anyway.

I like the Stanley's. Well respected around the traps (undoubtedly very gifted and good natured). Feel most for their little brother - clubs will surely have reservations given family history with knees.
