Woods should have been dropped before WIlliams going off their performances last week. Woods is absolute garbage. Two high tackle penalties including one where the guy still scores while he stops playing. Plus the knock on and sin binning 10 seconds later.

Well you try not to drop a player after just one bad performance and Woods has been better than Williams by a fair bit all season.

Williams has been asking for this for a while due to weeks of too many errors. Coach obviously gave him warnings and needed to make a chance. Granted he only made one error it was the last straw.

We also have lost Fifita for 3 weeks. You want to dump our only other experienced prop too ? yeah that's smart.

I havent watched you too closely this season but that Woods effort last week absolutely deserves a dropping.

Dropping Williams is reasonable given the error rate. The timing is odd given Williams was ok on the weekend compared to msny others. He is not a big name so a 'safe' target for the coach to make a statement.

The stats in the coach killer thread show the left edge has been very poor in terms of missed tackles and try causes. They are also less effective in attack.

The coach seems to be hoping the big names get shocked into action. The Warriors should be ripe for the picking so not too much to be gained in this game (apart from the obvious 2 points). A loss here would be a very poor sign. Just win and don't paper over the cracks.

The problem is, they should win this game but this is exactly the type of game we’ll lose in the most frustrating way ever. You can see it from a mile away

And when/if we do there will still be no unforced changes the week after. It’ll just be the same old, we didn’t turn up this week, we made the 8 last year, we need to go back to training and regroup because we need a win blah blah blah

I think Williams has been good and getting better. Dropped the ball heaps in early games but has that under control now. Runs hard and tries hard. Think Gal in the early days. Also opposition players ar going after that ball and elbow, ours as well.
He is gunna be a good un.

I mean, if we dropped all of our underperforming players we'd need a new centre, halfback, prop, two backrowers, and lock. That's a lot to change.

But dropping just one of these high profile players might have got the message across

I've been thinking about this one. I don't think I will be in the run on side so to speak. I might pass on watching the game live and just read our informative game day reports post game to see if I should make the effort to eventually watch the replay.

I did that a couple of weeks back and even though we just won the game I didn't watch the full replay and youse know what. I really had a good stress free week and no pent up anger to manage.

After last weeks piss poor effort I was angry, upset and felt let down. You know, like being forced fed a shit sandwich.

Yeah I reckon I might have a bit of a pre game hammy strain and make myself not available to watch it (the warriors game) live.

Goodwin likely out, few positional changes

Sharks Late Mail: Sharks are expected to be without Bryson Goodwin due to concussion, which will see Josh Dugan move back to left centre and Will Kennedy starting at fullback. Sione Katoa and Siosifa Talakai both had a light week on the training paddock due to HIA protocols but are expected to pass and be fit to play. Ronaldo Multitalo just needs to pass his final fitness test at the captain’s run and is expected to be declared fit to play. This will see Sione Katoa switch back to left wing with Mulitalo on right. Jesse Ramien will play after copping a knock to the calf last weekend.

I predict MacDonald and Goodwin out at 24 hour mark.
Followed by Williams and Magoulias at the 1 hour Pre kickoff
