He has lost me. I don't have much of a problem with him moving to the Raiders. Most people would have done the same thing. I have a problem with how he has handled it since. He has shown little respect for the club or the fans.

Consistently speaking about Ricky taking him to the next level. Consistently talking about his new mates in Canberra. Is he employed this year to be part of Canberra's marketing? UNless he is it is very poor form. Last time i checked he still played for WT. How hard is it to say "Sorry guys I have to concentrate on WT until the end of the season and will talk Raiders when my contract expires here"

To me it smacks of Benji putting on a Blues jersey while he was still contracted to us. Even talking about playing golf with him and Braith was a smack in the face to Tigers fans. Do you think Braith and Benji were happy about that? Many fans like myself who still supported Benji to a degree were turned off by him wearing that Blues jersey. Similar case here. I think Tedesco has lost a lot of Tigers fan who would have still cheered for him and supported him to a degree with his conduct since deciding to leave.

It is not so much accepting Canberra's offer. It is how you deal with it and how you respect WT. You don't here Sam Burgess waffling on about Hull or how good Union is, or how outstanding his new coach is. He respects Souths and and the fans. To me Tedesco comes out of it poorly and without many friends in tiger town. I doubt he cares about that anyway I am happy for Potter to pick the best 17 players, which would clearly include him However would be totally comfortable if he decided to stand him down.

Well said. We haven't heard Burgess say boo about Union yet Tedesco hasn't shut up about Canberra.

Seriously though... what would Pots be thinking ?
Would he feel ... well son im not good enough to teach you so I shall stop now , but if he needs to play him to win games he has mentor him to fulfill the teams needs. . A catch 22 , he needs to ensure the team wins for his own career but must also resent the disrespect showned to him by a player absorbing his training to ply elsewhere. . Hard call for Pottter.

Get the f**k over it, you princesses.
He is gone. Big deal.

No - you f**k off. Everyone is over it. Its not like we can change the decision and I don't even want to now.

We want to vent on a forum because traitor teddy is a low class piece of shit. Who the f**k are you to judge.

Too many pussies at the moment. The guy dogged us and we can say whatever the f**k we want.

As for playing him I think Potter will play him although I wouldn't. I bet Potter thinks he is a dickhead though.

I think Potter is professional enough to make that call.

He'll put him back in the side once he is available and coach him to the best of his ability. Any lack of form though or if he slackens off, Potter will get rid him there and then.

The guy is young and he's gonna take the money and run for now but I think we should get everything out of him we can this year. I don't mind if he kills it for us for the rest of the year. He sure owes us that. Then he can get injured next year, have a terrible time and beg to come back. All good to me.

I also dont understand why some of you guys are saying ricky will ruin his career and the tigers are building towards a premiership, he fixed up the eels look at them now.

Raiders have a very young team and lots of good young players coming through and have same chance as tigers to win a premiership next 5-6 years.

I think Potter has to continue working towards improving the side into the future, as he has been.

Figure out who will be fullback next year and get them there in that role now (if that player is at the club already)

If they aren't at the club, then play Tedesco there.

Sorry for intruding, but I completely agree with the last point here. I was dead keen on shipping milford off to reggies for the rest of year and begin looking for his internal replacement... thats exactly what the tigers should do if their replacement is internal

but now we've got Tedesco, im happy to keep Milford there. Our future fullback isnt on the roster, so we arent able to build the combinations anyways, so play your best.

If someone internal is going to be the fullback next year, Tedesco should never play another minute for the tigers. If their replacement is from another club, they should play Tedesco

While we are in contention for the 8 Tedesco will be in the side, unless his comments start to destablize the team making his position in the side untenable.

What we do with Tedesco's will not be a problem in a week or two because he will be back doing what he is best at.........REHAB after yet another injury

If he plays for the WT again & I hope he doesn't, it will be interesting if he is prepared to put the effort in now that he has secured a future elsewhere.

I wonder what the Raider players will think of all this, a kid with minimal experience & injury prone, (Gus Gould commented his style of running will always get him into trouble?) coming in on huge $'s?

Maybe play him (one game) against the Raiders this year & see .

Whole we are in contention for the 8, our best team should always be on the paddock. Simple as that.

Another article in the Telegraph about Tedesco today, more or less saying the WT have themself to blame for dicking him around and for not offering him decent money, and are being hypercritical considering the number of players they have signed from other clubs, again no mention of Ted saying it was not about the money.
