Sour grapes... absolutely !!! But the more big name signings that turn their back on the big money from the Raiders to remain / sign elsewhere = the happier i'll be

Tedesco has/had potential to move Hayne out of position if he had the right players around him.
Probably wont happen in Canberra. Likely however with Farah and Brooks and Moses.

Could turn into a Will Zillman and never unearth his potential.

A great ballrunner will be starved of opportunities by lack of quality around him.

Has he heard of Jaryd Hayne?

My point gal was about Ennis not going the raiders... Tedesco said Stewart would help him play consistent rep footy... so by Ennis not going there he misses his chance as well . :)

I can't see Tedesco moving Hayne out of position. Hayne is probably the best player in the game. I don't think Tedesco will get to that level.

I think that this could actually work out better for us. Tedesco getting paid overs may screw the raiders for the next couple of seasons.

Agreed. Hayne should own the blues no1 unless injured. But whilst Bozo is lurking around anything could happen.

Go back to your unreasonable hatred of someone who you've never met. He is a professional athlete, this is going to happen a lot more. Just because I am not slitting my wrists and saying he is free to make his own decisions doesn't mean I am happy for him to go, I'm quite disappointed he didn't resign after the development and rehabilitation we've put into him.

Amen. The amount of people throwing hate at someone who made a business decision. His own team mates may be disappointed he didn't stay, but they certainly understand his decision and wont hold it against him.

An item from Danny Weidler.

TEDESCO NOT TO BLAME
Wests Tigers fans need to direct their anger away from James Tedesco and towards the club management.
The facts are simple – Tedesco was initially offered less money than he was on this year as the first year of a new deal. He asked the club for a three-year deal.
The first three years of his new deal (they offered a four-season deal) was about $800,000 short of what he was offered at the Raiders.
The deal Tedesco was after was never met. He was prepared to take about $500,000 less to stay at the Tigers. That’s a fair sacrifice for a young player – but his club didn’t get close to that.

I am still pissed off with the guy. But does show perhaps what the WT's thought about him as well.

The way I see it the raiders offered monopoly money to Tedesco,Ennis,Proctor and Mansour and it looks like the only one to put greed in front of common sense is Tedesco. To me it says volumes about the kids character. Might be 100% wrong, but Siro and Nofo signed in no time, nothing played out in the media, just went about their stuff in a quite dignified fashion and did not string the club on for months.

Okay Teddy might had been offered a crappy deal in his initial offer, but may be the club had no where to go at that stage and like anyone who is buying anything you start with a rock bottom price and the argie bargie from their.

He obviously had the offer much earlier and WT+Teddy waited for the outcome of Milford. Milford made his intentions clear and Teddy took the offer. Teddy was Canberra's second option but given Milford cost $1m to retain (reported counteroffer) Teddy knew he would get big money.

Turning around now and saying I would have stayed if the diff was only $500k is garbage. The bloke needs to man up he took the cash over career. Do WT know more medically then the Raiders??

Yeah I thought about this as well. The Tigers doctors would know exactly what sort of state Tedesco's body is in. Obviously they wouldn't throw him under the bus and admit that was a big reason we wouldn't match any offers, but behind closed doors it may very well be.

If Canberra don't get themselves a proper and decent hooker for next season, then they will continue to struggle. Buttriss' service is so slow and poor, it gives the Raiders halves f**k all chance to move or create which means no opportunities for the a third receiver at fullback to do much at all.

I'm 40 and I haven't been drunk posting in ages. I just maintain the rage and tell f**kwits when they are f**kwits.

Seriously it is a concern to me when they are a lot of Tigers supporters with no balls. The ones that really piss me off though are the shit talkers who cry when you give it back to them.

As for the traitor. I think it is pretty obvious that it was always about getting the most amount of money. I don't think that there will be many juniors that will do this. Of course you will always lose some at some point due to money but I don't think many players are as money focused as our teddy.
