Terrible Decision

Joke of a decision. Sticky got it exactly right in his after match interview, it should've been on reprt but in no way was it a send-off, and if it had been anyone but Morley I doubt that it would've been. It was a pretty harmless high shot that would struggle to earn most players a one week suspension att the judiciary (although in Morleys case that'll mean 3-4).

Remind us what Steve Price did exactly.
I remember Luke Ricketson smacking Fien in the mouth last year in the semis and Brett Finch getting off for a high shot in the finals.

Price fore-armed a cowboys player in the face when he was being tackled...

That decision was disgraceful... I just expected it to be put on report and couldn't believe it when he pointed to the sheds... Absolutely ridiculous decision.

I dont really care, the guys a thug, his arm went swinging all night then finally hit the target. Morely is a good player, but why does he always swing his arm. It's gonna cost his career.
How ridiculous!!!!!!!!! Look in your own backyard, Morrison is no angel. It's beside the point, there was bugger all wrong with the tackle by Morely. An absolute disgraceful decision, in fact 1 i don't think will be beaten this year. I am all for making decisions without the vid ref, but on this occasion Simpkins erred dreadfully. Morely will only get suspended on previous offences, and even still i doubt he will miss a week.

Thought the off-side call on Anasta was just as bad. It was line ball at best, the NRL just gifted 2 points to one of it's favourites.

Have to agree there.

How one-eyed was Gould on the call?

I thought the new rule was that you had to have some part of your body behind the kicker's leading foot? He most certainly did.

You're a complete idiot Kid. How many suspensions has Morrison had. Probably a thoooousand more less than Morely. Its not about previous offences, you're missing the point he keeps using his arm in the air which is dangerous. If he keeps it down he's got no problem.l

A thousand more? or less? which one is it? And you call me the idiot?    obviously you are the Rhodes Scholar    While your at it PARRA_FAN, a simple question. If a tackle would appear to be high, and was called against the Eels, would you not expect the Ref to ask the Vid Ref to at least have a look before he sends the player off?

i dont like the roosters to be honest, but its plain to see that the send off was a terrible decision, was nothing in it, matty utai was falling as he was tackledm, and he didnt swing his arm at all. Stuart made a good point in saying that he hopes that the suspension isnt a long one to support a wrong decision. I also will be dissapointed if Ricky gets fined for his comments, as i dont get why after that call ricky stuart cannot point out the fact - that it was a disgraceful decision which was handled the wrong way by the referee.
Also the roosters need to be congratulated on showing some real character, and real passion in the jersey and their own performance to come up and win the way they did.

It can happen in any game, not just Eels (and obviously the player wouldnt be Morrison   ), if it was that obvious. Simpkins thought it was blatant when he saw it, but on replay it didnt look as bad. Ok maybe he shouldve checked with the video ref first to have a look, but what he saw he was 100% that it deserved a send off.

Wake me up when you come up with any Eels player that are as bad as Adrian Morley.

Totally agree and did you hear gusbag, he was having an anxiety attack...

"Anasta's foot is in front of the kicker,Anasta's foot was in front of the kicker"

I mean how desperate does the guy want to sound

If the foot is in front of the kicker, which it looked like, its offside.
Send off decision was terrible, Utai did a soccer player for sure.

Still was a dumbass call if you ask me.

Utai was hit high, Doesnt mean I condone the send off, but he was hit high, even the slightest hit to the temple can knock a player out, just ask mundine, he will tell ya, he took a womans hit and fell on his ass

he was hit high, but he certainly played up the situation. No way it was a send off offence

I think most fans who saw this game, including reasonable Dogs, will not agree that the Roosters were gifted 2 points. They saw a memorable gutsy comeback by a team on the ropes.

Your Raiders bias is showing. Get used to Monahan and Finch switching sides. It happens often.

Sorry i thought the topic was about a disgraceful decision against Morely, which you commented on, and still didn't answer whether you would like it if it was an Eels player that was sent off, a ref "thinking it was what was deserved on what he saw" and it could have cost you a game. I would still kick up the same stink if it happened to an Eels player as to any other as it was THAT bad,( The decision that is). Anyway, enjoy the rest of your holidays and shuffle off to bed now , and let the adults discuss the real issues of Rugby League

Your name says it all kid. Lets go back to your previous question.

Nothing to do with whether I like it or not.

Of course I would hate it when an Eels player is sent off, whether the ref went to the video ref or not.

f**k mate, i'm really at the end of my patience for your dumb arse. Yes or no??????? It really is that simple, would you like a ref to consult vid ref before making a decision to send off an Eel? nothing more, nothing less? Honestly, just try it, it won't kill you

this reminds me of some of the most incredible injustices ever seen at a judiciary.

The hopoate 22 week was a joke, the poor man has a family and is tongan. All he was trying to do was grab a ball and take a guy out at the same time. When my friend played he did that all the time and was encouraged.

A few yrs back i remember an incident when sonny bill williams, or was it danny williams?hit mark o neill in the jaw and he fell over and copped several weeks. the average man agrees with me that was a joke. Quite rightly he deserved NO MORE than 7 weeks, but i would have inclined to have given 2. it was a clearcut piece of 'stealth biff' and did the job at taking the other player out.

And i cannot belive what i saw, when in 1997, Matthew Johns knocked on from a set play against Illawarra and as he walked back to his defensive position muttered the word F * C K, IF you look closely at the side you could see it quite clearly. I REMEMBER thinking this guy will get banned for 6 weeks, but he was not reprimanded at all, instead he became a footy show regular after a 2 yr sabbatical in England, where i believe he no doubt became a new man, hopefully trying to shed the horror of that one game in 1997.

thankyou for listening.
