Just before that I saw a couple of people in Wests Tigers jerseys being surrounded by the chant 'rugby league out real footy in'.

They'll have to chant pretty loud to drown out the 80,000 people screaming tomorrow night.

Seriosuly, this kind of thing (and talk of "killing" Rugby League) will just put the AFL backwards in Sydney.

If the swans got towelled last week, I guarantee that they wouldn't have been on the show. It would seem the Swans are the cool thing to get behind this week for some Sydneyites...give it a week and all will be forgotten.

Relax all fans of the Greatest Game Of All... we have just over 24 hours till what is certainly going to be a great grand final.

We'll all have the opportunity to get square when the ratings in Sydney top the handbaggers GF last week....and in prime time no less! I'll be doing my bit to get the RL ratings up in Melbourne and hopefully not all other Vics are closeminded cumstains like our mate Dutchy and willtune in as well.

AFL can market their crappy little product with a good dose of Patriotism. The swans are SYDNEY's team. Bear in mind that if only 5000 supporters of of each Sydney club turned out to watch a crappy parade that would double their 20,000 crowd easily (who would be 90% Mexicans and bandwagon sheep anyway) and still fill most of the local pubs as well.

The thing that annoys me is the media lays on its back like a cheap wh*re any time it can to push the AFL message. And Packer/murdoch who own Leagues broadcasting rights, seem to be content to take sloppy seconds from their opposition whenever possible... That doesn't make sense to me...

I don't like AFL much but I was still happy that the Swans one. There are so many idiots who believe that NRL fans will turn to Swans fans its unbelievable.

And if its only Rooster fans who seriously quit RL to follow AFL. Then I've got one thing to say

The fact is many of us on here do like other sports, but AFL isn't one of them. Only a merkin would like EVERY sport. People do have tastes.

So with every new AFL team introduced to Sydney we will lose 3 NRL clubs. SO the AFL could achieve their ultimate dream of eradicating rugby league from Sydney by introducing 3 more AFL teams.
