Haters and idiots carry grudges.

To some extent, but at other times, it’s human nature and the pursuit of justice is something we all have in us to various extents.

Ivan treated us very badly. He told us he was committed and he was well paid and treated very kindly. We signed players in accordance with his wishes. He told everyone he was on the bus. He garnered support from the whole club. People looked out for him.

Then young Nate signs for 5 years and ivans in quiet secretive discussions ( or his agent is) with you guys behind our backs.

And then instead of telling the players face to face he’s going, he sends a general text and he’s never seen again. Players were very upset. We had been deeply betrayed....

We all thought it was very unprofessional and many people were hurt and remain so.

His word is not his word. He is simply not creditable.

That doesn’t excuse the angry foul mouthed dad for his outrage, but if it happened to you, you would find forgiveness a bridge too far as well. Like me, you may be more adult with your message.

We don’t think he has the moral fibre or is of good character to serve as a coach in the NRL.
It reflects poorly on your management that you gave him this opportunity to hurt us.

Nothing against you long suffering and rightfully proud fans of the chocolate soldiers. We don’t blame you except those who rub our faces in it.

Ivan will be gone from the game one day and normal transmission will resume. But so long as he’s a coach, our sense of justice will remain strong.

And why May is still on your books is unknown. What he did to those young women is deeply troubling, makes me feel sick thinking about it. It’s quite insulting to your female fans and members. There’s no panthers without these women. It’s a horrific message to send to your own. A lot of guys think it’s senseless as well. I’m sorry, but it’s not the Panther way.

That’s why I worry about where you are heading.

Folks like the Panther fans count up the wins whilat quickly moving onto next week.

I liked the look of May at the weekend. His try assist was more than a bit special.

Thanks Ivan for just being you.

For the kisses thrown, the scoreboard pointed at, and the waving.

Ivan you and your team are doing a great idea.

Thanks for comming back to coach your son.

The world is a much brighter place because of this.

May is on our books because if he wasn't he'd be on someone else's books, being a pretty damn useful utility.

I guess its not the Tiger way either, otherwise you wouldn't have signed Packer.

I find the Cleary/Tigers story really odd. For a guy and family that by every account are incredible people, humble, loyal, hardworking, it’s hard to believe he just screwed the Tigers as the narrative goes, without there being more to the story.

Anyway, glad the Tigs are going decent, Madge is a great coach and he has them playing with a bit of steel that I can’t remember seeing from Tigers sides for a long time.

No comparison.

May is a self confessed voyeur who filmed himself having relations with two women ( one with a mate) without the ladies knowledge or consent. In fact, one of them told him not to film her...and he did it anyway.

It was a sick minded and creepy violation of another persons right to privacy and dignity.

It was a profoundly sexist and a significant abuse of trust for his own twisted sense of self gratification.

People don’t like him wearing the jersey. It’s not right.

Versus

Packer got into a fight and smashed a bloke. A bit over the top, but young blokes and pubs....

You sound reasonable, I accept your smoking gun theory re Ivan.

A Tigers/ Panthers grand final would be awesome!

Hate to bust down your narrative of events. Parker hit and then stomped on a defenceless person's head numerous times. It wasn't a fight, as such it was an assault that caused bodly harm

So bad in fact that Packer was goaled.

I agree what May did was creepy and pretty nasty. He didn't recieve a goal term, he was bonded for the incident.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-01-31/nrl-player-tyrone-may-sentenced/11916802

I fail to see the point of linking these two players, or the incidents forever. Your attempt at continual trolling to me seems a little strange.

As I said earlier Folks like Panther fans spend their time during the week enjoying the win, in fact celebrating. (as it was a good win)

Perhaps you need at add more meaning to your life. Volunteer work, a hobby or an interest. But then I suppose your trolling of the Panthers forum could be considered a hobby.

Just remember though grudges can grow out of control if left to fester and feed. They can overtake your life. Try and not let this happen.

My final words are below.

I do believe in folks having an opportunity for a metanoia experience.

How Packer didn't kill that bloke is beyond me. What Packer did was a cowardly act, a dog act.

I think Alice confused herself a bit, readers will know that I never made the link with Packer and May and I not trolling this forum.

One of the weaknesses in her argument is that sometimes she attacks forum contributors personally if she disagrees with them. With respect, that’s not an argument. She’s done it before. Don’t make it personal Alice, you don’t need to. Doesn’t add value. Alice is probably a really nice person in the real world.

Ok, not only was May filming women without their consent, he’s distributing his pornographic tapes to players. That can be sourced, It’s all over the web.

And when you are peddling depraved filth like that, you are encouraging other players to treat women like sex objects, demeaning and degrading them. Alice makes some concessions here, much to her credit.

If he tried that at my workplace, he’d be shown the door by the male bosses in 2 seconds flat. We wouldn’t care less if he was the goat worker. On your way you low mongrel.

We will stick up for our wives, partners, daughters, mothers, aunts, grandmas etc. We will make a stand for our valuable and highly thought of female employees. Two of the owners are females. We have their back too.

Going to gaol for a crime doesn’t always make it that worse. The act is the act, the penalty is different. May could have been slotted easily. He was very lucky and had a very good barrister Mr Pontello SC.

Packer was a drunken idiot, sure, but not one who encouraged other people to join in.

So there’s no excuses for retaining May and we need our NRL players to walk the walk in promoting our invaluable and beloved female stakeholders.

Someone like Luke Lewis who spoke out in a profound and meaningful way against domestic violence. Legend. That’s the panther way. That’s what you stand for. That’s in the heart of the growl at the home games.

I’ve met some of those panther on the prowl people. They are awesome. They are very ethical and high brow people.

Maybe you should read up on Zane Musgrove before you proclaim your club to be some kind of champion for women.

I don’t think I said that.

But If he’s a women abuser, he can f**k off as well.

I care not for the colour of the jersey.

Fair enough, unfortunately the fact is most clubs have f**kwits playing for them, if it was up to me I would have left guys like Lodge, Tetevano, Musgrove etc out to dry and told em to have fun trying to find a real job. But the NRL are soft merkins who hide behind a facade of being a progressive sporting code, makes me laugh honestly.

I think there’s some truth in that.

I saw that Lodge tape. Like most people, when I was watching it, If I could, I wanted to protect that family and smack him repeatedly in the head. He would kill me, but that was the thought. I’m over that now.

Whatever May has done, I’ve never had a single moment of thinking he should be harmed etc. He doesn’t deserve anything like that.

Maybe May felt like smacking Lodge in the head too. That was general response from people.

On a 5 day meth bender, lodge was a complete tool.

For any kids at home, a bad addiction to these chemical drugs will turn you into a zombie, you will end up tied to a bed in an old folks home, in constant pain, unable to control your bodily functions.

You will be a zoo exhibit for people visiting their beloved older folk.. .and guess what, there isnt any way back.

I’ve seen it first hand kids, you do not want that life.

It is clear as day what Alice is getting at. You are going on about what May did, and the fact that he is still on the Panthers book. Packer almost killed a bloke, spent time behind bars, and he remained a Tiger? It is hypocritical.

Jane, you suffer from the same intolerance as Alice.

May is a convicted pornographer and voyeur.

The charges that he admitted to carry gaol sentences.

He’s a sleaze, he a grey overcoat wearing sicko.

If you think that’s fine, if you want him in your colours during women in league round, that’s you’re choice.
