Flat earth theory is not open minded, it's weak minded and supports a common theme of modern indoctrination. It's also a very sad reflection of the decaying education system of the Western World.

Firstly, you can prove the world is an ellipsoid yourself if you feel the need to try to prove to yourself that it's not. I'm not saying that you believe that the Earth is flat btw, yet to support stupid theories and call them open minded, is mind bogglingly f**king stupid! Whereby those who do, listen to a number of ever-growing idiots who have cherry picked basic science and twisted it to prove a make-believe theory SEEM like reality. This goes with all stupid theories that have exploded onto the scene in greater numbers of dumbfounded, dipshitery since 2020, yet they were there in the 70's/80's and 90's, just carrying on louder than ever into this century because the internet gives more idiots a voice.

Talking about indoctrination, some people have literally lobbed off their old fella, ate/drunk poison to catch a f**king spaceship to "save" themselves from the coming cataclysm. /rant.

My wife and I are planning a trip back to Oz later this year.
Since we've been here I've been compiling a list of things I want to do when we return (it's mostly eating/drinking stuff we can't get here).

I blew out in weight and got my weight down a couple of years ago to where I wanted it, haven't had a pie for about 2 years despite the temptation every time I go past a bakery

It’s weird. I thought moving to Thailand I’d sweat off a bit of the extra weight I’ve been carrying but I’ve actually gained about another 5-6kg.

It’s gotta be all the rice and the sugar in their cooking.
I don’t drink a lot at all, and don’t eat a lot in the if junk food, but still can’t seem to lose it.
