Obama knows as well as anyone that politicians need to say what their domestic audiences need to hear. Look at the abuse he puts up with from national leaders in the Islamic world.

Voting (and non-voting) populations are stupid and their elected (and unelected) leaders need to pander to them. It's just rhetoric, and if you think anyone who works their way into running a country is stupid then the joke's on you.

There are two sides to Western politics - one peddles nationalist bullshit while the other peddles globalist bullshit. No prizes for guessing what they have in common.

You refer to the general population as stupid quite often. If only we were all as smart as you Pou.

Very sad new on Doc Neeson, im so sad. Doc was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in December 2012.
The Angels are doing some gigs coming up (Dave Gleeson as frontman) , and I kept trolling the net to see if Doc would make an appearance to one of them in some way shape or form, and that's the gig id go to, its not to be

One of the best ever live aussie bands. My favourite album of theirs is Face to Face. It features Docs favourite Angels song of all time "Be with You".

RIP Bernard "Doc" Neeson

I've got an old VHS with The Angels live at at Narara and Oils on the Water. It's a cracker of a vid but I don't have a player anymore. Might be time to go searching online.

Later Doc.

Yeah I have some great memories seeing the Angels at the Family Inn, Parra Leagues and a few others.

They supported AC/DC when they played at the (old) Showground too. Hells Bells Tour ? That must have been mid 80's.

A mate of mine just paid $2.8 million dollars for a federation style house on a big block in Haberfield. Haberfield is nice but that to me seems excessive. Surely there are better areas in Sydney for the money. Thoughts?

I just sold a place I had in Haberfield for the same amount. It was also a federation style on a big block also. I had to get rid of it, full of termites.

My daughter lives in a house they paid that for 5 years ago in West Penno., but it has a tennis court, massive pool, 70 squares on 1800 sq metres, and 25 minutes from the city by car or express bus. They did work o/s for 5 years and came back cashed up.

Would rather live in WPH than Haberfield, closer to the beach too
