I just had a couple of pints of Little Creatures Pale at the OBH. I get the same thing every single time.

To my delicate palate it tastes no different to VB or Carlton Draught, and they're nearly $3 cheaper. I don't drink often so when I do I may as well pay a bit extra to look like a complete wanker, as opposed to the partial wanker I normally seem to be.

Ahh.....you see the Wig's stuff is all brewed on premises, by f**kers who know their stuff. They are having a stout festival at the moment, so have 6 of those on offer. That said I could only get a table outside tonight and it was too f**king cold.

Oh and I believe they contribute to global warming and child counselling.

You might have more luck for a meeting after they move to Llewellyn Hall in September. You can just say "Let's book Llewellyn Hall".

The former brewer of the Wig (Richard Watkins) has opened his own place, Bentspoke, on the other side of the city, and it's apparently pretty good too (I'm going to give it a go on Sunday).

You're out of touch OMC. You really think that the youth of today are happy to open up with a chaplain with regards to relationships, sexuality, drugs, suicide, bullying etc compared a social worker (counsellor) of their generation and in tune with their mindset ?

You are talking about a theoretical construct, but already in almost 3000 schools, the principals of the school are thrilled to have a chaplain working on their campus and speaking to the kids. It is working fine.

The latter. Most merkins I met in Afghanistan think Westerners don't have families and none of us know who our fathers are. In a poor country like Afghanistan this would be extremely irresponsible behaviour.

This was the locally employed civilians (mostly interpreters). Meaning the ones educated enough to speak English and ask personal questions. They understandably talked around the topic but their assumptions were obvious.
