Weak as piss, LNP. Compromises never work out well.

#StickToYourGuns

First thing I thought of as well.
They're not doing what they think is best for the country, they are doing what they think is best for their re-election chances. Otherwise, they wouldn't have made the decision in the first place.
They are all a bunch of f**king slime bags.

It's ok. Tony also told me that he'll also be removing subsidies for other people who choose to live in remote locations like farmers, hermits, fugitives etc.

He basically wants to remove them from their heritage and culture as part of his budget cuts.

Thats it for me, he should be removed.

Great way to close the gap.

I think one small part of his broader point is realistic....that is that there are only so many things that government can do to fix some problems, particularly in very remote areas where it is near on impossible to provide some services well. But the way he went about saying it (and the support for the cuts) was typical Tony.

The "lifestyle choice" is an extension of the LNP's policy in the budget that the unemployed need to be prepared to move to alternative locations so as to obtain a job. If not their welfare payments will cease.

That's why he said what he said.

Not only that, like the Yanks did to the American Indians, we took the choice land (alluvial flood plains etc) and told them that they can have the crap stuff left over. Oh and if we find minerals on the crap land, you need to move from there as well.
