The Black Hole

Gareon Conley has been cleared of any charges related to an alleged sexual assault.

Wasn't looking too promising just 24hrs ago when the case was being put in front of a grand jury to decide whether to indict or not.

I saw a stat that said 99.8% of cases get indicted when they go in front of a grand jury.

Great news for Conley and the Raiders... we get a guy who was looking like a top 10 pick at 24.

I feel sorry for the guy though... he was dumb for putting himself in that position... but from everything that's come out it sounds like the lady involved may well face charges.

Football players should stay away from sexual situations, stay a virgin til their career is over. They won't get into trouble that way.

I get what your saying...

But i think you have to look at it in context... the poor decision wasn't having sex.

It was the timing of it... a couple of weeks before the draft... where teams and the media will go through your life with a fine tooth comb to find any flaws.

He may have lost tens of millions after all is said and done.

The lesson isn't to be a virgin for the rest of your career... it's don't f**k random chicks in the weeks leading up to the draft.

It's not as stupid... but it's in the same vein as Randy Gregory testing positive for weed at the combine...

timing...

Lol... Raiders fans are either supporting him because apparently the dude laid hands on his sister or hoping this will allow us to cut him without having to pay him out... :joy::joy:

Ohhh FFS!!

All the progress we’ve made in the last 3-4years looks like it’s imploding in one season...

I love Gruden... i wished we never traded him away all those years ago... and while we have been terribly disappointing this season. I think it’s really poor to sack JDR after one bad season.

It’s what a terrible organisation would do... which i truly thought we were finally passed.

Well, I wouldn’t have sacked JDR but it’s done.

Reports that Crabtree is going to be cut too, again seems a rash decision.

It’s going to be an interesting offseason, that’s for sure.

Pretty bloody sad seeing JDR’s presser.

What a classy guy... took it on the chin and announced his own firing straight after being given the boot.

I hope someone else picks him up... he certainly deserves another chance.

Agreed - I like Gruden, but JDR was shafted - It's been a disappointing season yeah, but I didnt think it was THAT bad.

So Marvin Lewis just states that Paul Guenther is interviewing to be the Raiders DC for an unnamed head coach... I wonder who that is... :joy::joy:

Cowboys ST coach Rich Bisaccia has been given permission to interview for the Raiders ST coach ... that damn unnamed head coach again I assume... :joy::joy:

God i wish he was coming back to us insteas. The Glazers are too f**king cheap to pay $10mil a year though. I reckon he would stayed in Tampa if the Glazers were in the ball park cash wise.
