Yep give teams three review chances a half otherwise go with refs decision. Tv replay on decisions is a major blight on tne game. Glad I'm old enough to remember the game before it.

Bad call by the on field ref, I thought it was clear-cut enough for the bunker to overrule

I thought it was fair enough based on the on field ruling.

You could not say conclusively both feet were behind the kicker.

The gut feeling was a try however based on the needing to find enough evidence to over turn it was a fair decision.

How is this better?

The issue we have is the TV replay officials making the wrong call...

It doesn't matter if you get the match deciding call wrong the first time or the fourth time...

People need to differentiate between issues with the bunker and issues with the dumb merkins sitting in the chair.

The new system is faster and clearer, and as a result offers a better viewing experience and better understanding of the process.

It's always been a monkey that makes the decision. The bunker simply gives them better tools and more control to speed up what is ultimately going to be a monkey decision.

All it needs is a review system

Id give teams 2 reviews. If you are wrong you lose 1. Waste your review and ref makes a mistake, too bad so sad its your own fault.

Tupou was five metres offside and followed the play and was in a position to catch the last pass. He was offside, clear No Try and penalty.

Well you have changed your tune from having aubo "maybe offside".

Tupou didn't affect the play or impede any manly players. It's ok to admit it was a fair try, the 2 points will still go to manly.

You want to review the bunker decision?

"We have a decision, going to the board"

Captain: yeah I'd like to challenge that to the Second Bunker
The Second Bunker doesn't look at game footage, it just reviews the Video Ref's brain activity at the time of pushing the button and if there is none then the decision is remitted to the on-field ref

When did I say Aubusson was "maybe offside"?

It's been the rule for donks mate, the player doesn't need to directly get involved in the play, his presence is enough, and will be deemed to be offside if they attempt to get involved, which is what Tupou did - clearly. He got himself in position to be the recipient of the final pass rather than staying out of it. Clear as day.

So you would be happy with a system where Nightingale's try from last week (which was grounded well inside the field of play) can be denied because the arrogant ref thinks he knows better than his touch judge?

Mitchell was the kicker and ran him onside...
