Yeah it's good that there's now a way for refs to be overruled when there's a major f**k up but it's opening a massive can of worms ... Foran and Arthur said in their after match interview that it might have been a fair call but there have been plenty of times calls have gone against them and the bunker didn't come to save them ... so what do you say to that.
This is the problem. The decision was correct. The problem is, they have plenty of chances to overturn decisions at scrums and they decide not to.
There was even a game last year or the year before with Parramatta again where the video ref had already overturned a decision at a scrum in favour of the opposition and then later in the same game, they had the chance to overturn a decision in Parra's favour and the ref said to the Parra players that he's made his decision and he's not going to change it (Yes, this sentence is too long). So is this an 'if I feel like it' rule? There seems to be too many of these rules. I'm sure it hasn't only happened to Parramatta. I'm just using it as an example.
The bunker needs to stay out of general play and I don't see why overturning at a scrum is any different to overturning at any other time, apart from the fact that they have time to look at it. Again, do it on every call or not at all.
