I hate the Bunker and every team will get screwed by it at some point. When the dickhead ref said "I didn't see it" I was absolutely disgusted. I guess the f**kwit couldn't see the replay on the big screen either.

So I understand that poor lighting would have contributed to the four on field officials managing to miss Austin getting his nose smashed in but it's ridiculous that the bunker didn't step in.

All f**king year we've seen players laying down at even the slightest head contact waiting for the video referee to review the footage and have a penalty awarded. Here we have a player hit by a careless high tackle - easily a reportable offence - and after numerous replays the video ref does nothing! On top of that you have Dugan getting a penalty for the mildest of mild face massages.

What an absolute farce. Week to week rules are interpreted differently and even ignored. The bunker was supposed to fix a lot of this, with the video refereeing staff being cut down to only the best. Yet somehow we ended up with that dopey f**kwit Luke Patten in there!

if anything they should have put Austin on report and given a penalty to the Dragons

He said he didn't see it live therefore didn't blow a penalty straight away(obviously should of been) and on review the bunker decided it wasn't reportable. Simple. Im happy with the call if they keep it going it will remove a lot of diving(not implying Austin dived) which is what we all want.

We should'nt be talking about these issues? The hit on Austin was far, far worse than some of the love taps we have all seen looked at, reviewed by the bunker, penalties awarded and offending player placed on report. Inexcusable in my opinion.

If there was no blood no one would think its reportable, it was a lazy arm stuck out on a guy that was ducking, penalty worthy for sure but there was swinging arm or anything. As long as they keep that scale somewhat consistent from now on im happy with that. Id rather see shots that not get penalised then some of ridiculous face touches we have seen pulled up and put on report by the bunker. Even Ricky was happy enough with the call in the presser. Good on him for saying it too, diving goes against the fabric of the game and this is how we get rid of it.

I don't really care what the MRC says they are a bigger basketcase then the bunker. They will charge one player for something and the next week not charge another player for the exact same thing. IMO that shouldn't of been pulled up like many of them that have been this year. Im glad it wasn't and like I said even your own coach agreed with the call.
