What did I have to enjoy beforehand? 5 runners up medals and chokes in 05 & 06 prelim finals? Nothing to celebrate there. We were perennial finalists, but didn't have the mental strength to go on with it. That was frustrating.
Seeing the Horsies lose a game at the bad hands of a player we axed, then Melbourne get lapped in a GF....they weren't fulfilling, but they were far more enjoyable than seeing Saints lose big games. Thats not to rub anyones nose in it or say some stupid shit, but as a supporter of the game, I still have an interest in what happens when my mob aren't there.
