I agree, all these smart asses giving to Kenny annoy the crap out of me, who cares if he bangs on about what the club may owe him etc, the bottom line this guy is a legend who played the game in the spirit intended never got in any shit on or off the the field like some of these impostors running around at the moment , and was loyal to Parra all his career when he could have gone elsewhere for far more cash, just because u long time retired doesn't mean it gives "fans" the right to rubbish the guy at every opportunity, yes everyone has the right to their opinion I just dont share it with the above people, though in saying all this Im sure many will come out and bag me for speaking up for one of our best ever..

Totally with you on that one Mr Pmatta.
The guy was an absolute champion. Second only to the king as a 5/8th.
Silky smooth footwork, glorious passing game and majestic bootlaces tackling technique.
Don't people really have anything better to do with their energy than to bag a legend.......?

But people still bag out the likes of Pricey.

Being a legend of a player doesn't immunize you from being criticized as a human.

It is like jokes about minority groups, as long as it is funny it is ok.

No problem.

Did you end up getting one?

I've been trying, but I just can't seem to get one. :D

And for the record it was just an innocent comment and I wasn't reeled in, as I don't subscribe to those silly political games.

And maybe I should have finished my sentence with a :p, as it was meant to be a throw away line. But it looks as though I caught a few myself without meaning to.

Anyway, all's .

I don't think there's anyone on this site that doesn't think that Bert wasn't a legend of the club and will remain one forever.
It's just that some people here think he's a f**king dill. No disrespect in that.

Fred Hollows is a "f**king legend". Brett Kenny is an ex footballer. A bloody good one but an ex footballer nonetheless.

Why the distinction? Brett Kenny brought a smile to many people's faces for many years, just ad did Fred Hollows. How they did their respective deeds doesn't really matter.

I will always have a huge amount of respect and love for blokes like Mick Cronin, Peter Sterling, Brett Kenny, Eric Grothe Snr, Steve Ella, etc because they made my dad fall in love with the club and sport, and he then passed that love onto me. I adore this club (and the sport, too) and it is something we shared. And all because of blokes like Brett Kenny. How can you put a price on that?
