Pretty god damn epic....

agree on the stakes... surprised cap didn’t die. But obviously he won’t be joining any future fights.

It has some truly funny moments... my favourite was when they were watching Starlords original scene but without the music...

I loved that scene in the original GOTG it was probably one of my favourite scenes in general but having the other perspective was funny...

Korg & Mieke playing fortnight... :joy::joy:

I really don’t know what to think of the whole thing... I’m still in shock...

I don't know to how to the spoiler thing so I'll just say f*!king epic! Went across the road for a pint afterwards to process.

This shouldn't be too much of a spoiler. Elizabeth Olsen has a great rack

I. f**king. Loved. It.

I need to watch it again. And again. And again.
I was telling a guy at work about it (who likes spoilers for some reason), and kept remembering things as I went - I thought it was a good movie but while talking about it I think its moved up to a great movie!
also made me realise I already want to watch it again

It's also left me wondering...how the f**k are they going to possibly top that?

Like, seriously, how? That movie was to Marvel as the 5th was to Beethoven. Iconic. Grand. f**king epic. And quite possibly will never be topped.

I really loved that movie. Didn’t see Black Widow dying, but I had a feeling we’d lose Iron Man and Captain America. I thought the way they ‘killed off’ the Cap to be pure genius. Moving Thor across to the Guardians creates a lot of opportunities for fun too.

I genuinely hope the next few movies get deep into the ramifications of what happens next (ie - the world population doubles overnight in 2024, etc.

And I cannot wait for the neckbeards to lose their collective shit online about the all-female scene, and about the fact that Captain America is now black. :p

Once you get all the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU a big Secret Wars throw down would be pretty epic. The Russos have already said they want to do Secret Wars as well so you already know it would be in good hands.

Holy f**k
I just watched it and... and I think it might have kind of sucked

I’m going to think a little more about it. Keen to hear others reactions

Personally, I think it sucked.

It was way over-hyped, so it was on a hiding to nothing.

But I thought it was formulaic, and rather...spineless.

But, I'm sure I'm in the minority.

I dont fully agree that it sucked, but that is closer to my thoughts than the fan boy raving.

Perfectly adequate ending.

Some of the humor was really good, couple of minor surprises. 1 very expected but well done death and 1 that was a little surprising.

Overall way too long and the first half was plain dull at times.

Time travel plot twists generally give me the shits because of the logical incongruency they introduce. This is no exception. So Thanos from the past gets killed in his future meaning he never gets the stones so the whole finger snap doesnt happen.

Told my daughter I was quite happy to wait for the DVD (illegal download) but this was not allowed.

So I am off to watch now, with her and her man, their second view.

You're also in the minority that thought that Aquaman was a good movie

I thought it was fun - i didn't say it was a good movie.

It was cliched, had pacing issues, and was, at times, poorly written.

But I had a blast.

Endgame did its best to try to literally bore me to death in the first third, and then proceeded to suffer from pacing, and writing issues.

I'm comfortable with the fact I'm in the minority - I'm not sure why my opinion on Endgame sucking hurts you so personally.

They tried to explain this in the movie, changing the past doesnt change the future, it creates an alternate reality that splits off from the main timeline

One thing about the time travel. I'll make this as spoilerlessyas I can. Thor "takes" something with him during the travel process. This said item would have been greatly missed by those he left behind and was very vital and useful in upcoming events. Now what happens?

Cap takes that back like all the stones doesn't he? he takes it with him at the end but doesnt have it on him when he's old
