Probably. All the buzz is that the avengers as we know them will disband at the end of ultron, and with iron man having a big role in Cap 3, it's likely to be those aligned with Cap against those aligned with Stark.

Black Panther will also be making his big screen debut in Civil War

Wow. That's alot of Marvel films. Justice League Parts 1 + 2 and Avengers Infinity War Parts 1 + 2. These things are getting out of hand and so massive...and I pretty much love it.

Yep, the competition between DC and Marvel means that the fans are the winners

Hopefully, gone are the days of crap comic book movies being made

You'd hardly call it a competition at this stage.

Infinity Wars teaser trailer, low quality http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2...wars-teaser-trailer-1-cinescondite_shortfilms

lol Ok mate, if you want to ignore the massive interest around Dawn of Justice and the rest of the DC films slated and dismiss the tit for tat that is going between the 2 studios to out hype each other, go right ahead.

Marvel fan boys can bury their heads in the sand all they want, fact is both studios draw massive fan bases world wide and each is looking at the other and driving forward. It is fantastic for us fans and the industry

Sorry for insulting you mate.

I enjoy all superhero films when they come out.

lol hardly insulting me mate, just made me giggle tbh

The dismissive attitude towards DC came across as Marvel fan boy-esque in your post.

They're fantastic.

The Marvel movies are fantastic.

Marvel has a universe.

DC has a piece of string tying things together. They're only just getting with the program and it remains to be seen how it will all go

Really the only competition between the two studios is with the fanboys. WB/DC and Marvel would have what I imagine to be a friendly rivalry I reckon. Marvel wouldn't be hoping for DC films to fail, or vice-versa. One good comic book film makes people want to go and see another...and then another.
They will try to one-up each other in terms of announcements at times (like recently) and will smile when they have a bigger box office...but there is no hatred between the two companies.

You are right though, it is the fans who are the big winners from all this.
Although the days of crap comic book movies will always be around - there will just be a lower percentage of them than there was previously.

What part of what he said isn't true?

The part about their universe being tied together with a piece of string.
Right now we don't know how their universe ties together - we've only seen one movie from this series so far. To say that it is weakly tied implies that he knows something he doesn't.

Marvel has done well to create their movie universe, but it didn't happen overnight. We didn't know what Avengers would be like after seeing only Iron Man. It didn't fall apart after the lacklustre The Incredible Hulk.

I'm most excited for Sandman and Justice League Dark.

Hopefully they make it into production.
