I’d have us around 6th or 7th. Could be worse but in fairness to them we’ve barely had Johnson, Luke, Green and RTS together at any time over the past 6 weeks. The few times we have we have looked good. It’s just our luck at the moment that RTS came off injured. Hopefully with the bye we finally get a chance to get the forwards re energised and the spine fit and able to play together.

Didn’t see us as a 8-4 team. So that’s been a great surprise. I don’t think we can win a premiership yet.

Form teams for me now are Souths, Panthers and Sharks. Penrith I think have a great shot at the title. Done amazingly well given the injuries they have had. I thought they made some weird decisions in the off season but credit where it’s due they all look like the right decision.

2015- 8th, straight out
2017- misses finals

This from twitter shows dragons results over first 12 rounds 2015/17/18. Same same. Looks like another fade out on its way thanks to a coach who can’t adapt.

Dragons are only a serious injury to a play maker to season over, if Hunt done his knee they'd struggle to win another game.

Hunt's injury is a cork he picked up a few weeks ago. Still hasn't healed properly and he probably should have been rested to begin with. Same with De Belin. His hip-pointer injury has been on-going for about a month now. They keep playing him even though he isn't able to train. Just let them heal properly for f**k's sake!

If Hunt does have to spend any time on the sideline it'll be interesting to see if Kurt Mann or Jai Field gets his spot. If we want some speed, Jai Field makes Matt Dufty look like a sloth.

Can see the Dragons still making the 4 completely different team to the past 2 or 3 years... Warriors on the other hand can't see them staying in the 4 much longer just not enough depth...

Different? Players? Same coach, different tactics? Adapting to rule interpretation, different number of interchange? Maybe just other sides cap mismanagement has weaken those other sides?

We took your 7 and that's worked out pretty well so far.

If there is a trend in this, what is the cause?

Is it an incredibly tough off season (tougher than what other teams go through) that results in St George coming out of blocks a gear ahead of other teams, and then burning out?

If that’s right, isn’t it more of an issue with the strength and conditioning coaching staff?

Hard to know whose wheels have fallen off hardest, warriors or knights?

Warriors will be ok... miss Johnson
always go well during origin period
not sure they will make 4 but playing finals is a win after many predicted they would finish somewhere near bottom.
