Exactly Life is but a joke says Dylan...we've been laughing at each others misfortunes but its all in good fun...Well, your Sharks have been giving us something to laugh at for many a year.![]()
We'll be 10-3 once the Bulldogs are done with us.If they lose this, could the dragons be on the slide?
Hard to see anyone other than Raiders/Tigers breaking into the 8 and even that's looking slim.
It always makes me laugh. When fans of a team win a game when they're well below their best, you'll hear "I'll take a scrappy, barely deserved 2 points any day of the week".If they lose this, could the dragons be on the slide?
Dragons should be a lock for top 4 now... but this time last year we said the same thing.
This time last year we'd lost six matches and went on to lose another six. So far this year we've only lost three. At this point we actually have the same record at the end of round 15 as we had in 2010, when we won the Premiership- 11 wins, 3 losses and a bye. In 2010 we went on to lose another four matches by the end of the season, before managing to take home the trophy.

Panthers 1988, 1st after 15 rounds to missing the 5-team finals in a playoff. Only 22 rounds then. Won 4 of the 7 games too.I've looked at the competition ladders over the last 25 years (i had some free time at work!) and only twice has the team coming first after 15 rounds failed to make the top 4.

How many times have they won the comp from 1st at this point?history says anything less than top 4 is a massive failure for Saints

Brisbane slid from 1st to 8th in 2003 and from 1st to 6th in 2001.
The other anomaly is the dogs who went from 1st to last in 2002, not due to on field results but cheating so I've excluded that and gone back to 1992
12 times the team coming first after 15 rounds has finished minor premiers
7 times they have finished second
3 times third
once each for 4th, 6th and 8th

What is your point? You will lose 9 more matches this season?
Hunt and Graham make a huge difference. But we still have Mary. It kind of evens itself out.Has anyone mentioned the “no mcrone this time” factor for the dragons?
