It is clear to all Flanagan after a rocky start is changing the team for the better, yes it will take a while to get the players confident in a new direction but it is happening.

Congrats Flanno lets hope we can make the 8

well...

i neither agree or disagree.

we look better with the ball this year. that is certain. but we are a better team than the last seasons. we have better players and generally better talent in the team.

that said this years comp isnt all that flash. theres only 6 teams with a winning record.

In case you haven't noticed thats 4 wins in a row, and we have the best attack of any team over the last 4 weeks. Thats right DJ!

He must be doing something right, don't you think?

Correct, the team is winning, and we have been scoring plenty of points against poor opposition. However, as DJ (and countless others) have stated, what is the point of having Flanagan on the bench? He offers nothing.

have we? Im sure the last 2 years we beat the bottom 4 teams each time. We just had them in succession this year.

Difference is the way e are beating them. It's not a grind anymore. Early days though but things are looking much better.

Not a grind? Well thats not good then.
We have no hope if we cant grind away like Dragons Storm & Broncos.
Difference to me is the player roster has improved because juniors out of our system & purcahsed into our system over the last 5 years , are becoming very good first graders.
Case in point, Townsend.
Stuart had 50% of our halves problem solved with Seymour & Bird. Then Whammo, both gonski.
We were left with Kimmorley & Green 2 stunted attackers. So stuart scatter gun recruited Gardner, Smith, Wright, Kelly, Mcgrady, the kiwi kid(went to union) & signed locals Townsend & Porter long term & brought in seasoned professional John Morris..
In the end, if we end up with killer halves, it will be this recruitment & system that has paid the biggest dividends for us in decades
