It would be hard to fathom that Two Face being kept alive wouldn't find its way into the media though. Gotta figure the Arkham Asylum would be full of corrupt guards.

I still remember the fanboys saying Darth Maul wasn't dead at the end of Phantom Menace.

I guess Ras al Ghul could come back too since we never saw him "die".

Just saw it now, was fantastic. I thought Eckhart was better than Ledger tbh.

I've just come back from seeing this film.

My first question is - do you have to see the other Batman Begins film before this one because it didn't really do anything for me.
I'm not a huge fan of Superman or B-man.
Batman and Superman are just beefed up homo's in lycra suites big deal.

Sure, Ledger's performance was the show stealer but it was a tad boring and you didn't know what was going on at times.

There was some comical stuff in it that was funny.
Mainly by Ledger's one liner pros.

That whole pencil thing was classic, 'now you see it, now you don't.'

Ledger should have laughed a bit more.

I thought the story line was a lot like the whole Spiderman thing with the girl and the jealous boyfriend turning into a meany.

Batman Dark Knight 6/10

The start was boring.

P.S. the whole experiment by turning the screen into blue x-ray vision was dumb and hurt my eyes.
It's not even good film.

Yes it was as was the sceen where Eric Roberts was sitting in the nightclub and that deep base bumping music playing in the cinema blurting out as Batman comes in bashing guys was f**king awesome as well..
That was pure electricity.

I just don't get why everything is chaos in these films.
Christ, they even justified why The Joker was right about his chaos angle in the end there.
Spiderman Batman, come to N.Y. city and bash it for no reason.
I dunno.
This was a first explaining why The Joker had reason to destroy sh*t I guess but still.:?

Given that Two Face is undoubtedly still alive (the funeral being to protect the truth of his change), it seems obvious he will be the villain. The Joker was left alive too, obviously, but I'm not sure they'll re-cast for anything more than a cameo to explain his absence. Even that seems a stretch.

I just got back from it and I was absolutely blown away. Ledger is every bit as good as people said, Eckhart is positively tragic, and the rest aren't far behind. I thought Gyllenhaal did a far better job of the one scene that mattered for her character (and Dent's) than Holmes ever could have.

I've not come out of a movie this buzzed since Return of the King. Just an amazing, amazing film.

There's absolutely no reason why he can't be. They didn't once say, in film, that he was dead. The most we got was a memorial service, but given the state he was in both mentally and physically, they couldn't exactly parade him in front of Gotham as a sign that life was good. Having him die a hero was far better than showing him to Gotham as the villain he'd become.

It would be a crying shame if he was rushed in and out of the franchise like that. I was always pissed when Spiderman 3 made so little of Venom by tacking him on to the end - and it does no justice to Two Face's backstory or Eckhart's amazing portrayal to have him die so weakly.

Clayface is too much like two face, i don't think they'd use him.

There are only 4 logical villians that can be used on the context of the series.

Catwoman, Riddler, Hugo Strange and Talia a Guul *- assuming they don't re-use joker or two face.

Black mask is the only other i can think of.

I'd love to see someone do Bane properly.

But realistically too many other adversaries have to be added first.
