I remember reading that news.com article the day it was posted - Bored at work, I rarely venture near news rubbish as it's an online mix of Cosmo and NW. What a mistake that was.

Makes me think though, what kind of p*ssy kid doesn't enjoy seeing sh*t blown up and baddies being filled with lead?

My favourite movie between the ages of 5-15 was Terminator 2, does this mean I'm an Aussie Charles Manson? Or are kids these days AFL supporting, Big Brother watching power puffs?

Your about right there.

Just saw this.

O.M.G.

Heath, Eckhart, M Gyllenhall, Freeman and Christian Bale did such a good job on this, Heath in particular as everyone has mentioned. Him dancing about in front of the hospital, and the capture & imprisonment scenes were the best for mine, but really... i loved the whole 'who's gonna blow up who' bit, but i wish someone blew someone up (the ships), coz in reality it wouldve happened.

Imax is cool and all, but not much of it was shot for it. The bits that were looked great though.

Great film this one. Good story-telling, very well acted and very well put together. Blockbusters are really starting to get a lot smarter these days.

Don't particularly want to see Catwoman or Penguin in the next one. I hope they go obscure for the one of them. Maybe Ruby Ryder to pick up the scraps from the underworld, while her legitimate business goes into bed with Wayne Enterprises... then she beds Wayne... only to have Bruce have to take her down.

Then again, love interests never seemed to work in the Batman world.

I think the Idea if having Two-Face return, looking for vengeance against Batman is good, it's simple but it will work, but along with that i would have Black mask come in as the new head of the Mobsters (with origin story) and because each movie is about "testing" batman, i would also have the riddler.

My go you be having Black mask cause sh*t through out the streets while the cops are more occupied hunting batman, anarchy goes to extremes (perhaps echoing the sentiments of the joker).

Edward Nygma is brought it to help work out who batman is but he loses the plot when he can’t work it out and eventually turns into more of a nemesis than a help to the police when he gets infactuated with batman.

So you'll have The cops after batman, batman trying to stop black mask and the mobsters taking over the streets again, the riddler tormenting batman and then when the sh*t is about to hit the fan, I'd have the Riddler realise who Batman is and sells the info to Two-Face leading to the final confrontation.

I know there would be 3 villains but two-face I wouldn’t bring in till nearly the end, riddler wouldn’t be the riddler till about half way, I’d have Black mask as te main protagonist.

Dent died. He's not coming back. I also don't think the police will actively be searching for Batman in between movies as Bruce can simply choose not to put the suit onwhen there's no need for it.

I am looking forward to seeing Gordon in his new commish role. He knows Batman isn't the bad guy but has to balance police hatred for him at the same time. Good development there.

The Joker likes telling different stories about his origin, to quote The Killing Joke: "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!"

Spot on.

The Killing Joke is one of my all time fav graphic novels (see avatar above) and it is the best story involving the Joker. Nolan had Ledger read TKJ and I have to say he nailed the character perfectly.Ledgers stuttering crazy speak is exactly like Moore had written him

Victor Zsasz, Hugo Strange or Dr Harleen Quinzel...... if you want something a little more believable as far as villains go.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, think about it, he fell from the same distance marioni did (think about the quote), batman survived the fall, dents body wasn't at the memorial and they never said he was dead.

Who's to say that Gordan didn't just ship him to arckam?

They might pass him off as dead in the next, but i isn't a definent

I agree with this, they left it ambiguous in case they want him back in a sequel.

Eckhart has even mentioned that he would return in the next movie if asked.

Here's hoping. Although all the attention has gone to Ledger for his amazing performance, and rightly so, Eckhart was also awesome. Like Ledger he had a real presence when on screen.
