Haha.
Hey the new thing they do now is this:
Did you hear all those "Sharkies, clap, clap, clap" chants on the TV???
They are manufactured over the speakers. They have tried to make it sound genuine, and people did kind of join in, they then all of a sudden turn it off!
I watched the game this morning and it fooled the commentators, I'm wondering if it fooled the people at home too.

It was notably obvious, especially the team song at fulltime.

Yeah one particular angle showed for the first time (for me atleast) a view from the far north east corner which included vision of the front of the leagues club.

It showed the development going right up to the club suggesting it is absolutely part of the shopping precinct and not still “seperate”. This will drive foot traffic in big time.

One like this?

Oops! We ran into some problems.

You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Don't worry too munch I saw it on the replay.

I'm not worried. No one else reports an issue therefore it is your end.

It seems I was given some misleading info.
There wont be an Online only BWS in the new complex, it is opening not far away though, but there will be a DM, so your shopping trolleys will come in handy!

It is going to be a game changer. Never have to go to Caringbah/Miranda again. How good!
Posses me off every time I have to go to those terrible supermarkets in cronulla or drive to miranda/caringbah

That new IGA at Taren point is awesome except for the ridiculously high prices

Richies IGA I agree is bloody outrageous- they have a good bottleshop next door though with a stack of beer options.
I would go there in a heartbeat over the shops on willarong and president - has to be the worst parking in the area

One of the best IGA's I've ever seen that one at TP.
All supermarket prices have risen steeply recently. Must be a lockdown hangover, where every day was like Xmas day to them. They were all going to be under last year's bonus levels for managers so they had to jack the prices up.

How many massage parlours will there be?
At LAST! A pertinent question regarding the development! Once Covid has been relegated to status of common cold, once Climate change is exposed as the insidious left wing scam it is to bring down all that is good and right in the world, and ceases to be a problem , then I can forget my problems here and get down to the hallowed grounds !

I want to be able to have the FULL experience of a visit to the shire by a sharks fan.! The full package !!!! Massage before , Live music , Rock, Jazz , Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Boogey woogey etc etc ... fishing, surfing(?).... Naah, cant even swim, ....well Maybe day trip to go to far kurnell ? , Check out all the historical sites ,Stroll through the mall, catching all the Shire vibes, Rubbing shoulders at the club with past present and future legends of the sharks , and then corporate box to watch the game? Followed by a celebration of win!!!!

Then after ... next morning ...a slow massage before returning home ! What a happy ending!!!😁

I don’t find getting a park at that woolies hard if you go the right times but the oldies there are so dangerous. They just reverse and hope for the best. It’s f**ked and because it’s so tight half the people there can’t park. Also having a dan Murphy’s at the development will save us from that terrible car park at Caringbah.

The shops at Cronulla are shit too. The woolies is full of kids buying/stealing bottles of coke and there’s nothing there. Also it lacks a good deli type spot. Coming here from the inner west it’s something I’ve really noticed.

I worked out I haven’t been to Miranda all year. I’d like to keep it that way. Wife’s there every 2nd day

Might check out the TP IGA but that feels so far. Bunnings is almost the limit of my radius!

I'm at these places every day and could write a book about the accidents and fights I see.
I lived in the inner west and east for 20 years, before moving back south, I feel your pain about the deli situation, sadly you have to venture over to Kogarah for a really good one.
The Kirrawee Woolies/DM is relatively risk free for parking if you feel so bold to go that far.
You're becoming a fine Hobbit!
