This apparently was not JT's first infringement.

Sacked South Sydney coach Jason Taylor received a verbal warning and was fined after partying all night with two of his players following a match in Auckland last season.

But he did say: "We've had previous situations - and a previous situation in particular - but the reality is we've assessed this on this occasion.''

Richardson also insisted the club had spoken to staff members at Forresters Hotel and gained independent statements, something Taylor insists he has also done.
