Bought MASH season one the other day from JB Hi FI for $24.98, which worked out about a dollar an episode. Loved that series and it still holds it own today I reckon.

Other Series that I loved include:

Happy Days.
The Soprano's.
Fawlty Towers.
Star Trek.( the older ones ).
Third Watch.
CSI.
Angel.

To name but a few. What do you guys and gals rate as some of the best !!

The Simpsons have to be up there - the latter episodes haven't been as good as the early ones but it will go down as one of the best for sure.

Agree with that 110% :D

I love M*A*S*H so much, I actually rip the audio from the DVD's and listen to it at work. Here's everyone head down doing their work and I'm trying not to piss my pants from laughing.

Alan Alda was that show. Writing, producing, directing, and above all acting. Pure comedic genius.

Definitely The Sopranos. It is epic. Every episode is a masterpiece.

Seinfeld is second. Comedic brilliance! Amazing that they could maintain such a high level of quality writing for so long.
