He (Scott) went on with the tackle against Marshall even though everyone, including the blind 80yr old woman sitting in the back row of the grandstand, could see that Marshall had already got the ball away. He then followed it up the palm to Marshall's face while standing over him

and then threw the 1st punch when Marshall finally stood up and objected.

If this were one instance ........mehh, sh*t happens, play on.

It's not. This and other grubbiness (there's that word again Ronnie....do take note) like the forearm to the head or throat of the opposition player while your getting to your feet is part of Beau Scott's game.

Paul Gallen's grub acts started the same way and now evolved into donkey kicking at a players face..

Tonight Paul Gallen was back to his "stomping" best and Beau Scott trying to unsettle Marshall on Friday night.

Imagine if these 2 grubs played for the roosters, manly or stain george. Grub factor would be through the roof.

As has been said, the title of "grub" only sits with a select few. Billy has given more than his fair share of cheap shots. The sliding with the knees and feet into try scorer's heads fill a "grub' highlight reel now. But hey, he's not one of the select few is he.

None of these guys hold a candle up to Andrew Gee. Gal in his prime V Gee would have been the best shit you could ever see on a footy field.

It would have been like playing donkey in basketball. Who can come up with the cheapest shot / best christmas hold etc.

The Sam Thaiday would have run in like a WWE villain, only to be stopped by "The Unsettler" who was the guest referee for the Gee V Gallen championship fight.

Benji would have been back slammed by "The Unsettler" just prior to this, just because he felt like doing it.
