Our past 2 seasons all we have signed is Havili and Chee Kam and lost Reynolds, Gagai, Su'A, Marshall, Nicholls, Paulo, etc

We have 4 jersey flegg players who aren't anywhere near FG in our top 30

Guys like Thompson, Milne and Tass are in our top 6 backs

We could easily fit him in, no worries at all

Issues would come when we need to upgrade guys we have developed like Graham, Koloamatangi, etc

Souths have one 1 comp in 53 years and that was 9 years ago. I don't understand how people think Souths have a better chance of winning a comp sooner than the Raiders tbh. There's nothing special about their squad.

I think a split is best for the Raiders and best for Jack. He’s done almost everything in the game - Dally M, Clive Churchill, won Origin, won a World Cup - and he deserves to retire with a premiership.

He can do that as a strike centre with some good halves, I’m not so sure he can do that playing as a 6. Souths would be the ideal landing spot.

I think it will be good for the Raiders too, who as far as I can tell don’t have a succession plan despite Jack being on the wrong side of 30.

Lucky you didnt have to upgrade Walker, Mitchell , Cook , Burgess , Murray and Arrow or resign any other players.
They all just want to play for souths.
Any one with half a brain knows just cause you don't sign anyone new doesn't mean your not spending the money.
Just face it your clubs owned by billionaires who are the richest men in Australia and you run the NRL.
There would be no NRL without souths and there supporters so nothing to see here just move on .
