Whats this bullsh1t im hearing, that the NRL grand final won't be happening in sydney next year, that they're looking to taking it overseas

Just the NRL trying to get more money out of the NSW government, they tried the same tactic last year threatening to take the GF to Brisbane.

The NRL has been playing hard ball with the NSW government since it pulled stadium funding ( thanks largely to Peter Fitzisommons relentless campaigning against it )

Just bumping this CBS news report for those that didn't see, ( for the majority of us with generic page settings it got stuck as the last post on the previous page), it's pretty cool and well worth a watch.

Tickets only $19usd ! If it doesn't sell out can't complain that the reason was overpriced tickets.

And big props to Woodsie for keeping it real...using "youse" instead of "you"

The press release about the 9's states it is open to RL and RU clubs.

The aim would be to bring some of those guys across. Rather then just target the 700 RL players in the country

So hold it at one of the League clubs grounds.

Ignoring local League teams is not a good look.
