More waffle. Would you like me to list some of the lies in this thread that you have made? Like League not being played in schools in NZ outside of Auckland. Or New Zealand Rugby banning school boys from playing League.

You lie. You don't do your research and you hijack threads. that's why you get this thread.

Difference being Te Kaha : you are on a rugby league website with most of the comments from Australian fans. It is you whom needs to adjust appropriately. Your continued twisting and negative referencing has been noted by more than just from myself. If you cannot respectfully name the code then you have serious issues and I would suggest the management advise you to respect the code more appropriately on this rugby league website. Your irreverent and disrespectful stance in naming rugby league as 'league' and rugby union as 'rugby' is not right. Sure it can be tolerated on a union website but definitely should not be the case on this site.

This site prides itself on being a WORLD Rugby League site. Not an Australian one. That includes New Zealand views. Just because YOU believe my terminology is disrespectful or negative doesn't make it true.

You should not be on a 'world' rugby league site then! Most of the people on here note your distant regard fir rugby league yet you continue whiteanting of valid concerns and discourses. You should be ashamed of your stance but your upbringing has created a very rosy view of rugby union and a blinkered attitude toward rugby league. Many times you have stated that rugby league isn't popular in areas where union is strong. Most rugby league people are now seeing /identifying repressive actions and tactics by big brother union and it's "friends" in high places as the cause of this deemed lack of uptake in rugby league. You have repeatedly stated rugby league isn't good enough to attract such areas. Rugby league people would necessarily not agree with your negative stance and project the game in a positive manner. You do not do this. You defend very much on the side of the code that is repressing rugby league, that is union. It defies logic how you are on this website as a moderator. That you are not! But somehow you have got this gig!? That's concerning. Your place is surely on a rugby union website. Definitely not rugby league. I'd appreciate some constructive and decent action from yourself and rename the thread: "Repressuon of rugby league discussion/examples." If you were to do that I would think that you are and can be a fair person and not a bigot.

Funnily enough their are people aware of your despicable treatment of valid discussion and information. A number of people over the past 24 hours have noted your unfairness. Things will come back at you. You are aware of that arent you? And you still haven't responded to those two example articles/factual accounts of repression of rugby league in South Africa and France!? What a great deflector you are! Suppose you're proud of it! These are clear and concise well documened examples of the repression of rugby league. NZ is mentioned in the South African article. Still no response. Once again well avoided or deflected. (Whichever suits you?)

I didn't think you knew what you were talking about. I figured you were fake and those comments just prove it.
Rugby League Park: Was in dire need of upgrade, its "stands" were falling apart and its fences were rusted and falling over. Being a council OWNED park they asked RL Wellington to stump up some cash to bring it up to even a basic level. Wellington Rugby League couldn't. Wellington Rugby then told the council they had the cash to upgrade it as long as they could have use of it. Wellington City Council agreed. Wellington Rugby League was given first chance to upgrade the park and they said no.

Christchurch is a completely different situation. After the earthquake when Lancaster park was condemned Canterbury Rugby had no home ground. Canterbury League did. However like Wellington it was completely run down and need of repair. Canterbury Rugby and League then entered into an agreement. With Canterbury Leagues FULL support Canterbury Rugby paid for the repair and upgrade of the ground and RENTED it from Canterbury League until a new CHCH stadium gets built. Canterbury League then takes back their upgraded park without having to pay for it.
ANYBODY who follows League in NZ and who gets the NZRL Newsletters would know of that arrangement. The fact you don't shows a hell of a lot.

Another fact twisted by Te Kaha or should I call him Te Kama. Because his actions and opinions are one of a bigot. Very concerning as far as freedom of speech and independent discourse. I would suggest this "Te Kaha " character reassess his unruly and clandestine role in this website. Many people do not think Te Kaha is behaving/commenting for the benefit of rugby league and in fact is being regarded as a rude and disrespectful moderator. The naming of this thread should be changed to "Repression of rugby league: examples and discussion" That would be fine as many valid facts and perspectives have been brought up despite the inaccurate and rude title Te Kaha has created.

You seriously have no idea what you are talking about...

Wellington Rugby IS using the park SINCE the upgrade over a decade ago. Wellington RL could not or would not pay for the upgrade so The WCC rented it to Wellington Rugby since they could and DID upgrade it.

And CHCH WILL get a new stadium its just a matter of when. I notice you neglected to mention that the Canterbury RL approved of Canterbury Rugby renting and upgrading the ground.

That's two instances where you have been wrong. Its almost like you don't actually know what you are talking about... funny that.

No. Te Haka is denying the whole lot! He has yet to condemn and accept any odd treatment against the code of rugby league. In fact he has been dismissing the information as trivial and nothing out of the ordinary. From his stance in referencing rugby league as 'league' and rugby union as 'rugby" he's been absolutely indoctrinated to a mindset that sees only roses out of the devious union people doing their dodgy underhanded tricks toward rugby league. It’s a cultural difference you utter arse hat. Union is by far a bigger sport in NZ it makes no f**king sense to call it Rugby in NZ.
